Yes, I think the same when watching their interviews. But to clarify for some who may not know, the older 2 (on the right) have a mom who is still alive. Reeve's second wife was Dana, who died way too young from cancer shortly after Reeve died. So Will is the one who had the worst tragedy of an upbringing, but has turned out great.

Awww, this made me tear. Thank you for recognizing caregivers too. My sister had a stroke in 2019 and has had right side paralysis since. I have been her primary caregiver ever since. I have given up a career in nursing to care for her. Now I look after her full time. I also work from home as an academic writer. I ghost write for students. It's been hard mentally at times to think of what I gave up, but I love my sister and wouldnt have it any other way.

So, you're writing college papers that these kids turn in as their own? That's an enormous disservice to the nursing profession.

Christopher Reeve was one of my heroes growing up. His strength to not only survive the accident but also to turn his pain into purpose that has impacted the world makes him one of the people I have adored most ever!

Christopher Reeve and Michael J. Fox how they handled their bad luck has been truly inspiring. Reeve's was from an accident and MJF is from an illness but both are very inspiring.

This absolutely was a wonderful interview. Love the stuff about Robin, it is so true and of course a russian proctologist... LOL! Robin is amazing. worked with him on a couple films here in Vancouver. And I knew back then he and Chris were very close. Cheers to Matthew, Will and Alexandra carrying on their father's and mother's legacies. I cannot wait to see this documentary. Heartbroken that Chris and Dana are gone (and Robin), but thank you Kelly for interviewing the Reeves!

Saw in theaters and was 😢😢😢 in a few moments. If anyone’s wondering why Matthew’s British accent comes in and out it’s because as a child he spent summers & holidays in the states but spent majority of the year in the UK.

I notice that Alexandra's British accent comes and go when I hear her speak also.
@Snarkerella3 ай бұрын
Alexandra and Matthew were born in the UK and their mother was British, too. That's why they have an accent -- they also came to the states to be with their father and then back to the UK -- but that's more of the background.

To me, Christopher Reeve is the GOAT when it comes to Superman in the movies. Will Reeve looks like his dad. Then...the prank from close family friend Robin Williams. The world is sadder with these two men gone. TRIVIA: Christopher Reeve made a couple of appearances on "Smallville" a few years ago. Wish he was alive for the Supergirl TV show or even "Superman and Lois" as the superhero on TV fad comes to an end with the end of the so-called Arrowverse which started with Arrow, then The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, Black Lightning, Batwoman and now Superman and Lois though it's not in the same "universe" as the other shows were.

There's a clip somewhere of Glenn Close sharing the story of how close Christopher and Robin were, how Robin would likely still be living if Christopher had not died. Glenn narrates how when they were filming The World According to Garp, Christopher would fly in to pick up Robin as the week would end and return him, none the worse for wear, after the weekend.

their daughter has the same calming & strong aura about her like their mom Dana Reeves had ... and the boys look like their dad Christopher reeves so much especially the youngest he could be the doppelganger for his dad in film if ever needed ... all their kids are so well spoken and seem so kind... they raised some beautiful well rounded children even though they had that tragedy with their dad and then their mom they really used all of that for something good in the world to help others ... i wish them nothing but good things in their life and thank them for sharing their dad with the world and making superman come true for the world ...their sacrifices in life warmed the hearts of millions of people who looked up to their father and saw the real superman not just in the role but in real life after such a tragedy ....

I used to make those type of balloons that they're talking about for children who were getting blood tests and little tiny tykes who were going to doctors who were panicking because they were really afraid it would basically calm them down and I say when you come out I used to turn them into little chicken.
@ridingwilding7602 ай бұрын
My daughter was an event rider and part of that is cross country. Since this has happened there have been inventions that are able to help make such accidents less life threatening. Vests that inflate was one when a rider loses his seat. Keep in mind that equestrian riding is a potentially dangerous sport. These horses have a mind of their own and if the horse spooks, if the rider is out of balance, even the horse being experienced enough to know that he won’t make the jump can cause something to happen.

Is somebody who is technically a quadriplegic but the term they tend to use because I can walk or others cannot is incomplete quadriplegic, the scans show to crack from C1 to c 7 the spinal specialist could not believe I could walk he called it a miracle but the bigger Miracle he said was the fact that my body built it's on fix for the crack and damage to the spine, on the one hand it was good but on the other hand it was bad because have they been able to put in the fix on my spine they would have literally fuse those vertebrae from C1 to C7 and they would have put in a pole but my body built its own fix it created a secondary spine on top of the first to fix it and it literally put in calcification deposits in various areas that were broken it also believe it or not it looks like a bridge if you will with little spinal points between like think of a rose they're like little tiny pointy tidbits where discs once existed and no longer exists and that is holding the entire spine together it's like a hand almost the way it's built is it's just they call it a miracle I don't have words to describe what they call it and I don't know if I call it that I mean I realize compared to what happened to Christopher breathe I guess it is mine was caused by several car accidents one after the other pretty much and then falling down a flight of stairs didn't help matters it crushed to other areas in my spine so somehow they don't know how it is my body has a habit of fixing itself like I said the fixes aren't perfect but under the circumstances they're making a bad situation better in one way and worse than another because they cannot be surgically removed so that I cannot have what would make a permanent possibility of me being without the possibility that sometime in the future I might lose that secondary spine or structure that is holding it all together, but as time goes on I am getting more and more to the point where I will be in a wheelchair permanently I don't relish the thought and I'm trying to avoid it which may sound stupid but you have to understand I live in a country where if you're a handicap you might as well take a gun to your head and blow your brains out because frankly nothing is handicap accessible, so when it gets to that point I don't know what exactly I will do... They're right about one thing everything when it comes to the spine is location location location location location location location the damage to my spine the fracture that goes from the first to the 7th is the first one is at the edge of C1 at the very bottom of it and goes straight and you don't really see it very well anymore because the calcification has literally filled in the crack but on the other hand I wish the accident had taken my life because the future is not something I look forward to...
