Both actors are legends. Robin Williams was such a wild fellow. He sure was a national treasure. Christopher Reeve will always be Superman in our hearts. 🫡

The saddest moment in Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story was when Glenn Close said that she believed that if Reeve had still been around Williams would be too. A real tear-jerker of a moment…

I doubt even Reeve could have saved Robin Williams. Robin had a disease beyond normal depression, as the person above me posted about.

This is so hard to watch. Robin Williams always seemed to represent the classic sad clown to me. It always felt as if he had this darkness inside of him that he didn't want anyone to see, so he developed this manic comedy in an attempt to disguise how he really felt about things. Except.....here he could barely keep it together. He was a master of covering his feelings, but the loss of a lifelong brother and friend was simply too much. He remained professional, of course, but I kind of wish the cameras would've stopped rolling and left him alone with his grief.

It might be due to cultural differences (I am European), but it strikes me how often Ellen touches Robin Williams during the show. She reaches for him many times. Is this a perfectly normal thing to do on U.S. television? Or does this indicate they knew each other very well? Just asking, I do not mean to be judgmental. In my country people would probably not display a friendship this way, at least not on TV.

@holmhelena it's a moronic comment, Europe is the most diverse culturally diverse continent on the planet, each country is unique & each country also has unique cultures within it No Europeans would describe themselves as European

Prayers for generations past, present, and future! Prayers for ending selective education and documentation of prejudices throughout the history of gangs manipulating never-ending artfulness of GAMES psychological psychopathic narcissistic manipulating abuses on many levels! I believe each person is knowingly or not on a spiritual journey of development learning many aspects of perceptions in spiritual lessons and history! Denial of the circus of facades where truthfulness is unwelcome until denial as a cure is impossible is a journey of insanity!
