Andre3000 who has written so much more complex stuff than Hey Ya and is one of the best lyricist rapper's have ever seen but the dude who just did some basic acoustic cover would know better than Andre what the song is about.. well hey he must because Andre is just some rapper. It's not an accident that the fucking song brings a contrast to the lyrics by how it's presented. Actually many rap/hiphop song's does that, Hey Ya does it just to the max and it's not an accident neither that it was a hit. The lyrics are really basic for what Andre can write so that's why he most likely covered it up with a lot of interesting shit on top of them. He thinks Andre didn't know he was writing a sad lyrics.. this makes me more mad than it should
