I was always a fan of his after I saw catch me if you can, the yankees and the pinstripes line was so clever and his new york accent is one of the best. I think many people agree with me that Christopher Walken is a brilliant actor. He is great in dramatic rolls and few actors can do terrifying characters as good as he does. Christopher Walken is awesome. I wish interviewers like Ellen DeGeneres and Larry King would actually have the courtesy to let their guests actually answer the questions they're asked in their entirety. I understand that they (Ellen & Larry) as interviewers have to get to certain points in the interviews before commercial breaks, but geez. As for the impressions of him, though they're exaggerated somewhat, he does have a distinct voice and speaking pattern, especially the brief pauses.

If you really read him well, he is not like all other actors and his edgyness ending him in these sorts of roles. He admits to being a homebody when not working and maybe "cabin fever" put him over the edge so hes slightly unhinged just enough to play these parts haha so well but he is totally a great smart guy very down to earth and modest. Hopkins is also quiet and says hes not much of a family/crowd maybe? person and has a great subtle air about him and does brilliant work without all the fan fare.
