I love my StreamDeck! I’m a project manager & I use it as a productivity tool. I’m in a lot of meetings daily so I have one button for zoom that opens a folder that has all of the buttons programmed for differs zoom function. I have other buttons that will open different web pages that I typically use to run meetings like Jira boards, Trello, etc so that when I get ready to start the meeting I just tap the button and all of the pages open. I also have common zoom meeting numbers programmed so to join a meeting I just tap the bottom instead of going to the calendar & opening the event and then clicking on the zoom number. Doesn’t sound like much but I find it very useful.

As an office worker who lives in Outlook, Streamdeck does wonders for flagging and categorising. I've been using it since it first came out and now swear by the XL. I recently moved to a TKL keyboard also and just mapped the num pad to a sub menu on the Streamdeck. Instant space saving with minimal impact on productivity.

Such an incredible tool for productivity. I’ve got a couple XLs on my setup. One which shows the same persistent icons which change the profile displayed on the second as well as anything I always want access to. Elgato’s software is fantastic for customisation and the ability to run AppleScript (and therefore shortcuts) and Shell just makes it so incredibly powerful.

I've had a 15-button Stream Deck for a few months now and so far I've added buttons to set my Philips Hue RGB bulbs to different colors or even to turn them each or all on/off. I have another button to swap between audio devices. Having Apple Music (iTunes) controls on it is also helpful. I know not every button needs something on it, but I feel like I should have more on it. My brother suggested launching apps with it, but those are on my dock, so I don't think I want multiple quick access options to the apps.

my issue with this is if you've created keyboard shortcuts, you are actively using the keyboard and then you leave the keyboard to press a button. your'e already there. It just doesn't make sense to use this thing as much as I search, nobody has got a video demo of anything where I genuinely believe it gets used every day. A year later @christopher Lawley are you even using it like this at all?

I've been a tech enthusiast for 20 years and I never knew this existed until today. I was watching a video where a guy was putting sticks on keyboard keys for macros using auto hot key, and I thought, imagine if instead of stickers it was LCD and you could change the icons and things. Then I saw this, and it has the icons, but also submenus. I almost feel like if you don't use this kind of tech going forward you might as well be working with a hand tied behind your back, because you're just going to be outworked by someone proficient with this tech and scripting.
