Perfect timing! Just installed Obsidian on my Laptop a few days ago and now I was thinking of installing it on my Ipad and phone. It’s just and incredibly easy and productive app. I just began to store my important links (thanks for explaining the possibilities), notes, project and even to do lists! I beginning to like it too much…

Obsidian runs on just about every operating system ... people are even running it on Supernote device!

@@Solstice42 No, not every operating system. It is only available on macOS, Windows 10+ and Linux. (And Android/iOS) It's not on windows 7 for example. Supernote devices use Linux.

i’ve found the ecosystem to enhance my workflow! My vault is on my icloud so it syncs accoss all devices, and i use my iPad as an extended display to write notes also :)

@@XIIIIVIXIX wait, so you integrate your notes from iPad into Obsidian Vault? I'm asking because this is one last thing left in Obsidian that I desperately want but it's not there in it. Writing by hand, drawing, making notes by hand like I did as a student on paper. I wish I could do this in Obsidian.

Very similar set up to my Obsidian for researching and drafting for KZbin scripts, I am still using ReadWise but your quick demo of Web Clipper might tempt me to switch. Thanks for sharing!

Hey Chris - As someone who also has ADHD, I'm wondering about the LaunchPad. It looks great, but I wonder if I would lose track of things? Have you ever used a canvas or task... boxes? I'm not sure what that's called - dashboard? If so, I'm wondering how you would compare the two processes.

Do you use the apple pencil in your note taking workflow? Obsidian does not support handwritten notes fully which is a big bummer

this is my main issue with it. You can use the excalidraw plugin but its not as good as other apps like GoodNotes or Notability, which is to be expected tbh

Plugin Excalidraw allows that, and it's amazing

No apple pencil support, no care (funny that the thumbnail has the pencil laying there as if you could use it with Obsidian)
