This episode has stuck with me since I saw it on broadcast. I was 22. I always think about trying to get through the rough moments with this episode in the back of my mind. It's a heart-wrenching realization that we have to get over ourselves to truly let somebody else in. Thanks, Titus... for more than you know.

This is in my opinion one of the greatest television series to ever hit the airwaves. And this episode, hands-down the most realistic breakup episode ever filmed for a TV show. I have watched it, I can't tell you how many times, and every episode rings just as true the last time I watched it as the first.

I roughly remember this show when it was on air. I was in college, living some of the best days of my life, so I didn't watch much TV then between studying and other things a young 20-something does. I don't think I caught a full episode back then, but I remember liking the bits I did watch. I am so glad these are here on KZbin, so I can see what I missed. There's a strangely comforting thing that Titus does, exposing his vulnerabilities while demonstrating what feels like an old fashion sense of masculinity these days. I can't say I grew up or lived the dysfunctional like that Titus did, but I also can't say I lived a nice, normal life either. I feel my life was on the boundary between these worlds. Which left me forever weird, even among the weird. This episode in particular hit me hard. As someone that feels they missed an excellent relationship with a woman too many times. For me, I have been on the unrequited love on both sides. It hurt when my love wasn't reciprocated, but I also feel awful to all the women that crushed on me that I was too blind or shy to do anything about. Perhaps, because like Titus, me being happy is a frightening thing.

This was the second best acted, edited, and scripted episode of the show behind the Pilot! Blended comedy, actual drama, deep subjects MASTERFULLY! In a show who's M.O. was "playing jump rope" with exposing deep truths and the line of "mindless" entertainment this was a true masterclass! Titus and Watross were truly brave and committed!

This episode ruined the character Erin. She's completely heartless. I don't know what was going on with the writing, but this episode made it clear that Erin is just plain untrustworthy and mean. That everything she does around her boyfriend is just an act. 10/10 for realism. 2/10 for comedy.

When I first saw this episode, I was so wtf when Erin brought out the basket. And then so shocked that she cheated too! Never saw it coming! And when I heard your show was canceled, I broke several things around the apartment...how can we get you back? Love all your specials but the casting and writing on your series was seriously unbeatable (until Fox foxxed it up).

To be fair Titus had admitted it wasn't just Fox's fault. He admits he had the wrong reaction to their bad idea, Chris and Erin breaking up. Basically things became heated and he either did or almost cuss out one or more of Fox's head execs which is what led them to moving the show around until the ratings dropped and they canceled it.
