Best show opening of Titus's, and also, let's face it, the one we all relate to. (Even if we're not in Fresno!)

As someone who is from Fresno, let me say I think that you are lucky, to not be from there. Back in the 90's it was number 2 in the US for violent crime and car theft. Now they are still number 5. It's a republican run town in California. Yeah, think about that one.

Had a neighbor that would stand at the door and yell for her 2 son's , 3 and 5 years old, to get in the house. They'd yell F you at her and she did nothing. One of those boys is in prison now, he's 28 the other has moved in and out of their moms house so many times I've lost count. He's 31, divorced with 2 kids.

I live in the Philippines. Those who build tennis shoes for Nike are the lucky ones. We don’t complain enough, accept too much sh*t from our rulers, and smile when w are praised for our “resilience”. But that was one funny bit by Chris Titus 😄

Growing up, the only count down my mom, dad or grandma gave was the amount of time I had until they broke out the belt, slipper or switch. I didn't fear god, I feared grandma.

Titus. My father was a child of the Depression. He was born in 1930, and I was born in 1969. He ran the streets of Boston looking for metal and carried blocks of ice up four stories. He did the work, then joined the Air Force during Korea. My father is the kind of hero we should look up to. I am one generation from that man., one generation, his son. I am 53. His was a generation when work meant something. No longer the truth. He graduated from a block of Americans that actually valued what you did for this country. That is being eroded now, and specifically by Republicans. They do not believe in AMERIACA If they don't win then the votes were wrong. When they win it's fine and dandy! You can't have it both ways! What the eff is wrong with you!

@@kimmywatts5459 I am. He was an incredible man. All that and more. He built telephony and so did I. But he was the forerunner, I caught on the cattails. I did a good job. Dad was the tops. There's not many left of us who can design telephony. My father was great at it.

@@kimmywatts5459 Yeah, actually he did. He was a signals man during the Korean War and went on to have a career with New Jersey Bell. Splicers helper back in the day when splice cases were made of lead, central office man, and then eventually he was the manager of engineers when he retired in 1985. He continued to work as a contractor until 2007. I started wiorkin for Bell Atlantic climbing poles with spikes on my feet and then was an engineer as well. Yeah, he gave me a career, but I worked my ass for it.
