The Great Greek Millennium celebration was the centerpiece attraction of the EPT 2000 Símera: I Iméra tis Chilietías TV Special on the EPT Television Networks, which was held at the Acropolis in Athens. The Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation through the EPT Television Networks was commissioned by the BBC and WGBH Boston as the official and exclusive Greek Broadcaster of the 2000 Today International Television Special as it was also witnessed by the ARTEAR El Trece Television Network of Argentina (during the El Dia del Milenio TV Special), Television Nacional de Chile and Chilevision of Chile, Rede Record and Rede Bandeirantes of Brazil, Canal Once TV of Mexico, RTL Television and ProSieben of Germany, Stöð 2 of Iceland, the RAI Television Networks of Italy, the Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation of South Korea, TV Asahi of Japan, and GMA Network of the Philippines

+alxxz Αγαπητέ δε μπορώ παρά να συμφωνήσω απολύτως με το σχόλιο σου. Αυτό όμως το οποίο έχω γράψει πιο πάνω αναφέρεται στην Εθνική Έξαψη και Υπερηφάνεια που νιώσαμε εκείνες τις λίγες στιγμές ως Έθνος και όχι για το φαγοπότι που πράγματι έγινε με αφορμή αυτή τη γιορτή ._

The Choirs performing were: at the 1st piece the Hellenic Broadcast Choir (Athens) and Makedonia" Choir (Thessaloniki), 2nd piece: "Th. Vasilikos" Byzantine Choir (Athens) 3rd piece: the Children Choir of "Ag. Triada" (Thessaloniki) and the fourth one the first two mixed Choirs

Fast fact: The Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation chose the Acropolis as the setting of the Great Greek Millennium celebration in Athens for the EPT 2000 Símera TV Special, the Greek Version of the 2000 Today: The Great Global Millennium Day Celebration TV Special. The EPT Television Networks, the Television arm of the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation, was responsible for transmitting the Great Greek Millennium celebration to 150 countries including the likes of the defected Millennium Live broadcasters and adopted 2000 Today broadcasters, such as the BNT Networks and Nova Television of Bulgaria, Teletica Canal 7 of Costa Rica, HRT Television of Croatia, Cubavision and Tele Rebelde of Cuba, RIK Television of Cyprus, TeleAntillas of the Dominican Republic, TCS Television of El Salvador, LTV Television of Latvia, and TRT Television of Turkey
