Thank you Christy for making this video on favorite Copic Colors! I'm hoping that the next video will show the rest of your favorite color combos for each color family in various shades esp. the pinks, blues, purple and greens! Like you I have full set of Spectrum Noir but found Copic are easier to blend. I've started a list of color combinations from watching LF & other videos in order for me to choose what color combos blend & add them to my collection! Looking forward to viewing your video's in this series! Stay safe & take care!

I’m so excited for this series. I started out with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and had the hardest time with them. After watching a lot of videos (yours included) and learning I was using the wrong paper I tried them again. I now love alcohol markers and have recently been growing my copic collection. I find the charts very helpful for creating color combinations but would love to have some “go to” combos. I still find I struggle where to put shadows and highlights, especially on critters. I’d also love a video on coloring people. I have a hard time with color combos and my hair usually looks flat. Can’t wait to see what you have next!

I used the Spectrum Noirs for about two years when I was on the Crafter’s Companion design team. They weren’t bad! But Copics were my first love and I just had to come back to them. I gave all my SNs to an artist friend to enjoy. I do plan on covering all those things to the best of my ability! Hopefully they’ll help you out.🙂

Great video, Christy, and I am looking forward to the rest of your series. You are one of my favorite artists to watch color with your Copic Markers. I don't even think you realize how talented you are! As you complete different sections of these videos, is there a chance that the information will be available in written form, say maybe on your blog? Sounds like a lot of work for you, but somehow when first reading about your ideas for these videos, I could see myself putting the data in page protectors because I know your ideas and knowledge are something that I would be referring to during every coloring session. Like I said, I am grateful for your sharing your knowledge with us in any form. Be safe, and stay well.

Hey Christy! Thanks for sharing! I am totally looking forward to the series as Copic’s are my medium of choice and You are 1 of 3 of my favorite Copic peeps! Always mesmerized by your coloring/blending!! Something I struggled with in the beginning was ink type, what to use for stamping that was going to be just what I was looking for. I have now gone through pretty much every brand (and now have tons I don’t use) before settling on my favorite. Maybe you could give us some ink insight as well. Thanks again for all your inspiration!! 😍

@christygetscrafty4 жыл бұрын
I would say maybe a bag with a zipper top (Copic used to make them, but I’m not sure if they still do), or a box with a lid or else you could store them in a drawer. If you have an Alex drawer unit, I saw I video the other day where someone combined two drawers into one to store their Copics. I think the channel was called My Craftroom Adventures.

I struggled to find a direct link, but I saw it pinned many times on Pinterest. I don't know what the rule is for sharing indirect links, so I would just follow one of those and hopefully you get a full size or maybe one you can adjust in Microsoft Word or a program like that. Sorry, I don't have Word, so I don't have instructions myself, but I've heard lots of people who use digital stamps resize in Word so that might be a good option before printing out. Let me know if you still can't find one and I will ask around!
