I agree with Candace that shows like Full House let kids be kids, it came across real on screen. Now, unfortunately, it seems forced and like mentioned, waiting for the joke which takes the authenticity and spontaneity away. Old school Disney Channel with shows like Even Stevens and Lizzie McGuire rocked! Quality and real life relatable shows without cringeworthy laugh tracks.

It wasn’t as bad then but it did begin every show needing a hook that was either impossible or very unrealistic for a real kid to go through (being a psychic, a pop star, living in a luxury hotel, being a witch)

I completely agree with Candace when she said that nowadays they refuse to let kids on tv shows just be kids. Like Full House was a show that kids and parents could watch together and not cringe at the script. Now every kids show has these corny scripts and jokes that are just horrible.

bob saget actually wanted to leave the show after the 1st season cause of how corny and stupid it was but he just bought a house and his wife was pregnant, so he decided to stay for the paycheck

My little sister made sure we were all present. She watched everything you did. My children and she were close in age and she made sure they were there to watch. It was good times.. We don’t know that. They all stayed so close. They went to his funeral and appeared to keep a relationship with him. Not wanted to act is different than a private relationship. Plenty of shows didn’t do that.

She was also a lifesaver with her workouts during quarantine. I followed a few people and I always loved the workouts with her and her trainer. It was tough!

I miss full house being a brand new episode full house was my childhood I was 4 or maybe 5 when I got introduced to this show I was born 1985 so I got to see the reruns on nick at nite in the 90s while watching the new episodes at the same time man time flys by so fast it feels like just yesterday I was a kid and now I’m an adult it’s just crazy
