I haven't seen Series 4 yet, but I'm willing to bet this was the best season of "Fort Boyard" in terms of winners. In 16 regular episodes, there were only two losses, with one being a wrong/misspelled password and the other being an epic fail (when they fail to even attempt the password), with a .875 winning percentage.

Actually, only one team failed to win the gold in Series 4, due to a misspelt password. They put "OFFICEE" instead of "OFFICE" on the treasure room floor and thus the game was lost. Other than that, I believe every team in Series 4 won some gold.

Yes, every other team in Series 4 captured Boyard's Gold, so that was, indeed, the best series of the Channel 5 programme.

Ruth was the only contestant in the Melinda Messenger episodes to win the Neon Water challenge. Quite weird actually as many other contestants win on other versions.
