"Buntin" is indeed a great episode. Lots going on, not a moment wasted. I've seen it many times, but this time I'm seeing the brilliance of the cinematography! Every shot is perfect.
@withchrisandkeith508 Жыл бұрын
I remember watching the DVD commentary for this episode (not many of the DVDs had them; I don't think Kiernan or Hemphill liked doing them much). They mentioned that by the end of the breakfast scene, the plates sitting on top of the cooker were red hot. You can see when Jack picks them up at 3:54 that he's shuffling his fingers around, trying to balance them on each other etc. because they're burning his hands and he didn't want to ruin the one big take.

As I live in England, I had never seen this show until today, and then by accident. Given the paucity of good comedy on BBC England, I am surprised they either didn't network the show, or buy it and put it on instead of numerous re-runs of scripted comedy quiz games. There is barely any situation comedy on BBC England now, except for numerous reruns of Dad's Army

Delboy359 it is a Scottish show, it’s our tongue and our genetics running right through it, The patter the behaviours of the characters. That’s why we love it more. It’s there for everyone of course, And there to be enjoyed by everyone but to Scots we hold it deeper in our hearts. I saw the hour show at the Edinburgh festival in 1999. Three years before the series came out, Even then I could see it was something special,

Okay, fair enough, as long as you can accept that noone can enjoy Only Fools and Horses like we do for the same reasons.
