Myself and my parents have followed Ford and Greg since Chewin the fat, they really took off with still game, when the show was on, we would sit down and by the end of the episode we’d be in tears laughing😂 it’s a true Scottish and Comedy classic id say it’s the best comedy show that’s come out of Scotland ever ❤

In one of the interviews, when accused of being generous with good bits with the whole cast and not just keeping the good lines for themselves, the duo mentioned that when Hines said they need a couple more minutes of content before filming, neither of them wanted to learn more lines, so they made up the bit where Isa’s guessing what they’re upto, handed it over to Jane just before filming and she did the whole thing beautifully. This cast is just such a chummy bunch. by the way: they’ve got they’re own whiskey and gin now

Genuinely never seen this until I was about 28 (33 now) and I have Genuinely watched every episode about 6 times each. I've turned into a super fan of sorts, and it fucking iritates me this was never really on in England during its day as nothing comes close to it in the early 2000s, still game or miranda ffs not exactly a hard choice, maybe because im from the north east and our accent and culture isnt that much different tbh. It just Genuinely makes me smile, I was actually in navids shop last week as I was in Glasgow for a work meeting! Felt weird walking the steps down to the shop

Totally with you with Rab C Nesbitt. Would also recommend Two Doors Down, which features the actress who plays Rab's wife and the guy who plays Chris the postie in SG. For years I've been saying that the Scots produce some of the finest comedy anywhere and long may it live. There's just something about the vernacular which I find inherently funny. Get it yous you pair of fannies when delivered by Winston slays me every time.
