Read the manga, What Zeno actually said, is that Chrollo doesn't stand a chance against him. But if he had used his full potential then there could be some possibility. Zeno never implied that Chrollo is stronger or even as equal as him. He basically said that the fight would last longer if Chrollo went all out. In case you didn't see this fight scene properly, it literally lasted less than 2 minutes and Zeno let Chrollo live cause he wasn't gonna get paid by the Ten dons who hired the Zoldycks to kill Chrollo. They are the best assassins in the world and strictly professional. They only kill when money is involved.

I didn't really have a way to gage how powerful any of these 3 were during this fight... it wasn't until the chimera ant arc when Silva kills Cheetaru that it really sunk in that Chrollo and Hisoka both are as absurdly powerful as they are. Zeno was able to give Cheetaru the warning before Silva murked him, which means Zeno is obviously much more powerful and perceptive than Cheetaru. By extension, bringing that information back to this fight, that means that Chrollo is strong enough to realistically fend off both Silva and Zeno in a true fight, considering his only goal during this scene was to steal their abilities and Zeno admitted that if Chrollo wanted to kill him, that he'd probably be able to do it. And that means that Hisoka is roughly on that same level, since Chrollo v Hisoka ONLY went the way of Chrollo because of the preparation time he was allotted. That's insane to think about. And Hisoka has been toying with (and realistically helping him develop as well) Gon forever just because he can see the potential for a Chrollo-level fight with him in the future. So many questions now on who the top 5 nen users really are with all of that information being available, especially with Netero admitting that he's not one of the strongest anymore, and hasn't been for a LONG time.

This fight should be one of the all time greats in anime, but sadly togashi chickened out and ruined it by making it pointless, still kinda cool to watch but honestly the fact no one died in this was a huge disservice to the series. Not to mention how unprofessional and lame the reason makes the zoldyck family look. Considering Hunter x Hunter may never finish it makes this bad writing look like an even worse choice years later. He saved all three of these characters for basically nothing

pointless? not at all. Chrollo quickly got cornered by the two assassins. And remember they came to kill him not to risk their lives killing him. I must say they approached him carefully while he was stalling them waiting for Illumi to help him kill the mafia bosses. This is not a pointless fight, since it shows the natures of the zoldyck and chrollo: zoldyck are assassins they dont kill for fun, and chrollo outsmarted the mafia by hiring illumi to kill them before he would get killed by the other zoldycks.

Well, Aura is a more balanced form, with a nice combination of talent and skill. The same could be said at Chakra at some points, but they can scale to literally destroy the world. So, saying which one is better can be your own opinion, whichever you like the most.
