Наверное, самый потрясающий звук из этих трёх - у Chill Angels посередине. Я не ожидала, что Seeds звучит так посредственно на их фоне... Я сейчас собираюсь купить свою первую калимбу, именно хроматическую. И выбираю. У Chill Angels ведь нет четырёх басовых язычков? Мне кажется, что мне гипотетически будет больше не хватать в этом месте диезов и бемолей, чем басовых нот без полутонов. Или я не права?

У Chill Angels есть 4 басовых язычка. : ) Даже 5 язычков, + ля #. И это единственная калимба из этих трёх, которая имеет 34 язычка и 34 звука. Я говорю о том, что в других двух, некоторые нотки повторяются и имея 34 язычка получвется не 34 звука, а меньше. Думаю это хороший вариант калимбы для мелодий в разных тональностях с бемолями и диезами.

hello, thank you for this video. i rly fell in love with the sound of the chill-angel-kalimba. now i am interested... is yours C-Tuned, or B-Tuned? I am completely newbie in the music, so i cannot hear out is it b-tuned or c-tuned. ^^

I have chill Angels too and from all the 34 key kalimbas i Had (tingting, Hluru, seeds, chill Angels) chill Angels has the best Sound but its hard to tune and the upper layer does Not Sound Well. I would buy Hluru. Its just half the price, all Keys Sound very good and its easier to tune.

@@Annouk82 Hluru doesn't have .6# 1# and 2#. That's a deal-breaker in my opinion.

​​@@Shaesi.You can retune to have them. But the deal-breaker for me is retuning the hluru to C Major or Chill Angels/Poopoopidoo nonredundant tuning made dead tines, so be careful.

Спасибо за обзор! Из представленных пожалуй средняя выглядит наилучшим образом. Но все же я разочарована. Звук у них у всех какой-то слишком металлический. На любителя. Может потому что конструкция без деревянного порога. Seeds вообще звучит как консервная банка. И на сегодняшний день это самые дорогие калимбы от лучших производителей. Печаль, но 17-21 нота звучат лучше. Еще раз благодарю за обзор👍!

Спасибо за коментарий! Да, в каждой калимбе есть свои недочёты. В Seeds kalimba часто дребезжат язычки. И 4 басовые нижние нотки расстраиваются их нужно подогнуть немного или настравивать часто. Ling Ting (фиолетовая) самая тяжелая, около 700гр. и в настройке не очень удобная. Так же в ней нет 4х басовых язычков.

@@olya4603 Вы прямо читаете мои мысли))👍 Басовые язычки, как по мне, это самая вкуснятина. А больше половины калимб просто пищат на самых своих низких нотах.. Прочитала ниже что у вас есть калимба от от Bolf ! Интересно было бы услышать звук. Тоже на них заглядывала на этси))

On 2 layer kalimbas, if a tine is one semitone apart from a tine it’s directly above, does it make that strange wobbling dissonance sound like when 2 adjacent tines are one semitone apart?

Maybe I didn't understand your question correct, but if you were referring to the lack of harmony between the notes, than I think the instruments sound good. The simetones sound like they usual do. In my opinion, there is no dissonance when you play melody. If I didn't answer your question, can you please clarify it a bit more?

@@olya4603 Maybe they’re talking about resonant vibrations, where you say play C & the C# rings out due to the vibrations from the C note causing that tine to ring, causing dissonance? That’s my best guess as to the question, it’s an issue a lot of string instrumentalists have

Hello! I don't think I have a favorite one. Honestly, I almost don't use the Ling Ting kalimba at all. It's more heavier than the others and it hasn't 4 deep tones. My favorite Chromatic kalimba is the Bolfkalimbas "Aurora 21 tone". (I think I'll make a video with that later). But if I had to make a choice, I'd choose the "Chill Angels kalimba", (because of sound).

@@olya4603 Thanks for replying! I bought the Lingting too but had to return it for the same reason as you - it’s too heavy. I am doubting between Seeds and Chill Angels (I like its sound also based on what I’ve seen in videos like yours). Do you find the 4 lower tones of Seeds useful?

Yes, it is useful. But in my Seeds kalimba, 4 lower tones start out of tune fast. I need to retune it often.
