Can the 2 compression straps be taken off instead of hanging around?

The straps can not be removed but they can be adjusted to being only on the bottom of the bag where you can wrap or tie them so they’re just there if you need them.

Let’s see chrome says the sleeve is a 15” laptop sleeve and it does measure 15” wide.. but maybe you could fit it in there not being in the laptop spot. @@Insidethebagz My problem is the bag is huge. 9L with no organization. And you wear it on you back. This means all of you stuff will congregate to the bottom corner. Do D rings, molle or pockets. I like the Metrorunner01 Prime much better.
