Wow thank you for the shots on your back. I’ve got 3 Kadets and am tempted by these new ones with swappable colored buckles. I was thinking the Max since I already have the normal Kadets. I like those bottom buckles since I usually struggled to shove a rolled up shell in the OG Kadets bottom straps. Honestly though, it seems a little large… I think the Kadets was the perfect size as is. Also lack of U lock holder on the Max? Chrome forgetting their roots smh. I’ve also never seen it on a back really. I have seen a few people wearing them but they always have it on the front haha. Looks kinda goofy but hey I’ve been wearing mine since it came out.

The Max is a bit too big to daily for me but I would get for when I need to carry a PC or something like that and don't want to have a backpack. I also don't understand why Chrome didn't add the U lock holder there... I guess the idea is that it fits easily inside the bag... maybe...

The Kadet max looks nice, especially the colour and organisation. Just bought a cycling specific bag from ‘Life behind bars’ called the peloton. Loverly bags made in Indonesia. Surprised by the quality and price compared to some mainstream bag manufactures. I’m considering getting another bag from them, I just wish they did a few more colour options or did some as a custom option. Have you ever heard of this company making bike specific backpacks and messenger bags? Their messenger bags are unique, especially the shoulder harness system with their optional second shoulder strap for spreading the load over both shoulder. Thoughts. Anyway, another great vlog. 👍👍🙂

Well I have 4 different Kadet bags, and the Max is on the way in the Castlerock Twill. Should fit my need perfectly.

That is kinda cool. If I rode to work or just wanted a new laptop bag that would be nice to have. For the bike its not really necessary for me since I don't carry much except my water and tools.

Max is a little bigger than i'd like, but i wish the kadet was a 1-2" taller to easily stuff a small jacket...just not this Max big. Velcro divider in the pocket next to pen pockets so you have the option to have 2 smaller pockets so stuff isnt floating around in it but still have the option to lay something longer in it. Also velcro or zipper at the bottom u lock hole so i can opt to use that space as a pocket. The bottom straps could be clips to easily clip a bottle, umbrella, or rolled up jacket instead of having to slide things into those straps.

I think the Max is perfect if you want to carry a bit more and don't want a full size backpack. The Kadet (normal size) definitely needed the straps to have clip to make it easy and a closing system to the pocket inside... spot on!

Would have liked a water bottle pocket on the inside side and another one one the other inside side for an umbrella or another bottle

Not a cyclist but I’ve owned a few cadets for years. The problem I’ve run into is its storage limitations. I immediately upgraded to the kadet max upon release and while i love its size, my issue now is the lack of storage pockets. Chrome has not released an organizer for the Max yet and they are consistently out of stock on the organizer for the regular kadet. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a good organizer for the kadet max?

I have the same issue with the regular Kadet and I still haven't managed to get the organizer. For now all I do is use smaller bags (tool bag, tech bag) that I use according to what I need to bring with me, also makes easier when I need to change things between bags.
