Hey! So to chrome do you use activator before doing gel top coat?? If not how do you file and buff before chrome

I've been wanting to try OG's chromes, but haven't because I haven't been using gel (and I'm under the impression you need to use gel for the chromes?). Well, I'm gonna try out the gel next time due to dip flu the last 3 or more times I've used regular liquids, so I ordered some chrome when I ordered the gel liquids! I was feeling a little intimidated about using the chrome, but since watching this video, I can't wait!!! It's soooo pretty and you make it look super easy! Thank you!

Love your videos! Can you use any color chrome on top of dip powder?? Can you use base coat or does it have to be top coat only. I have chrome powders but I've only used them with stamping

Hi Katie! Any color chrome will work. =) You could use base gel, cure for 30 seconds and then rub in your chrome. The tacky layer may feel strange when rubbing in the chrome but it should work. But you would then need to finish off with a gel top coat.

Hi! i'm actually not sure, that's a good question. The one i'm using is a no wipe top coat so the chrome rubs in without any of that sticky residue disturbing anything.

Cannot use finger…oils from your finger will cause peeling.
