I am confused and have an exam so kindly please help me out if anyone could answer my question- In 6:21, it is mentioned that it is a sex cell but why does it have both the alleles of a single trait in the same cell? Isn't it supposed to have only one type of allele of a trait in it? Or The speaker did not mean to say a sex cell?

Yes it is a sex cell which is yet to undergo meiosis process…which means its diploid nd will contain….
