I recommend getting the RoTD instead. It has a luck rating of 110%, comparable to the Trident, and a lure speed of 65%. With the hasty enchant, we can boost that to 120% lure speed. Its resilience and control are excellent, particularly for mythical fish. Additionally, it has a passive ability that grants a fish every third catch, making it the best late-game rod.

I’m pretty sure it’s hard to get an abyssal with no life because you have a chance to get abyssal and hexed and it probably prefers one over the other

not realy. Group mutations work like next thing: (imagine) We have 100% chance for common fish. We get new rod with 5% for golden fish and get enchant that give 10% chance to get abbysal So game will make this math like this: 100-5%-10% = 85% chnace for common. Other 15% - mutations from enchant and rod. So basicaly it mean same chances for both mutations BUT lower chance for NO mutations
