Chronic lymphocytic leukemia - A treatable cancer | क्रोनिक लिम्फोसाइटिक ल्यूकेमिया

Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) is a type of cancer of the blood and bone marrow in which the bone marrow makes more lymphocytes than required. CLL mainly affects older adults and accounts for about one-third of all leukemias. It is most common in adults, with 70 being the average age of diagnosis. The incidence rate of CLL in India is 0.41 per 100 000. Patients with CLL need routine health monitoring to ensure that cancer doesn't return.

Very informative... Dr.im having lympnode gradually developed in my left neck of 7cm size... Went to Tata memorial hospital...they have taken of abrasions of my tongue for biopsy..awaiting results in 1 week. I'm unable to eat solid foods because of infection on the tounge edge towards inside...losing weight also...how to start eating ....

Fantastic sir, आप ने इतना कुछ बता दिया CLL के बारे में कि हम आश्वस्त हो गए। मेरे पिताजी को 2016 मे इसका पता चला था, रांची के प्रसिद्ध ऑनकोलॉजिस्ट डॉक्टर कुमार सौरभ सर ने उस समय बताया कि अभी इसकी इलाज की जरूरत नहीं है। पिताजी की आयु 74 वर्ष है, कुछ दिन से शरीर में दर्द रहता है,बुखार आता है, पाचन भी नहीं हो रहा है, खाना ठीक से नहीं खा रहे। डॉक्टर से मिलना पड़ेगा।

dont stop it , it will lead to sudden flare up of lymphocytes . consult your haematologist before making any change

@jedlee8326 I had stopped with Drs mutual consent only for 6 months, but in 5th month of stopping, I noticed WBC going up, so restated 1st with Acalbeutinib for a month then switched back to IBRUTINIB, my original one. Thx for kind concern. Regards n blessings too sirji. 🙏
