Nope! No difference! Unfortunately, many poorly-written books will enumerate them as 2 things. However, there is no difference. But they have different subtypes (Allogenic, autologous, etc).

CML is a slow phase. If you have BCR-Abl you will most likely have elevated numbers and Imatinib Mesylate is the first drug administered. Then you are closely monitored.

Live happily, be strong. Think before going BMT, its very high risk treament. Ask doctor about his previous treated patient details for both success and failures. Again BMT treatment dangerous than cancer this applies in India.
