Both of you are correct. If you have a true calling and you ignore it eventually you’re going to end up having to succumb to it, but you won’t necessarily die. It’s more so just gonna be very uncomfortable for you until you do just like when God calls you to do something and you don’t do it and everything else falls apart.

Sounds like Odiyan from Hindi folklore, Odiyans are said to sacrifice a newborns of women in their 1st pregnancy and transform at night to do their payed assassin work. While Lougawu/Loupgarou seems to go after children AFTER they become their monstrous form and also operate at night 🤔 And both are said to both be created by a curse placed by someone else, or by oneself depending on the version of the legend 🤔 So sad, all these powers could be used for good, but instead they are used to hurt the most innocent of society - children 😢 One can only imagine that the forces behind these beings may not be the most benevolent ones 😢

in louisiana it's called a rougarou you can be turned into one if you don't observe lint, or if you see one in his eyes if you wound one or kill one they will transform back into a human y you can't mention this action for a year. Another if you are attack by a rougarou but survive it will transform the curse to you
