Wow..what a beautiful accomplishment for you. I listen to the whole video, as some else said it was calming, soothing. I am always in the run as emergency nurse, just had surgery to my shoulder and lock me down..I was in depressive mood when I came to your video, omg, you made my day. I am a gardener and I started my first snapdragons not sure what kind but I am hoping they make it. ❤

I heard you say your house remained empty for 5 years, my little house remained empty for 3 years 😮...I think they were waiting for each of us to transform them into our homes! The brickwork came out great, totally old world! 👍👏😊

Beautiful. I can't for the life of me grow Rosemary indoors. I have tried many times store-bought pots. Trimmed Rosemary trees. And yes digging up my Rosemary outside and planting it indoors. Each time it goes dry and then dead. Plenty of sunlight and minimal watering. Alas, failure after failure. What is your trick? Sincerely, defeated

I was going to ask the same question. In the past, my rosemary has stayed alive until about February then just dies. Hoping Angela tells us how she keeps her so beautiful.

There are some that just do NOT make it. Ever. Like the kind i grab at the grocery store around the holidays that are Christmas tree-shaped. They last about a month, they get fresh growth, and everything they just DIE. But if you grow them in pots outside and then bring them in, keep them AWAY from heat, mist them with water regularly, full to part sun, and water them when they are dry, and when you do, completely soak them. That's the trick.

I grow mine in a terrarium with my other herbs, all in separate pots, and they’re all thriving! It’s basically a controlled climate for them to chill over the winter months 😊

I love the conservatory and can't wait to see what you do with the kitchen. We're going to have to tear my kitchen apart at some point and I'm scratching my head about how I'm going to cook. Hopefully it will be in the summer where we can do a lot of grilling outside.

Hi Angela! Seeing the conservatory in its humble beginning to what it is now is incredible! Lots of hard work (admire Joel so much) and your remarkable vision have given you the perfect place to be. No wonder it’s your favorite. You have so many calatheas and they all look healthy. When I purchased mine several years ago, the information research was that they would be “short-lived” houseplants and mine died after a year. What is your secret to these outliving their expectancy? Thank you for sharing; I am learning and enjoying at the same time.

What is the filler you grow and arrange at 20 minute mark?
@noellaq80566 ай бұрын
It looks like the herb: Sage. Great for roasts and soups. And yes, as a filler too …. It loves the sun and do not over water. It air dries well too, will store well in a glass jar for use in the winter time and any time of year.

Beautiful video, I love the chronicles of the conservatory. I have watched all of your videos but, sometimes I do forget the transformation. I was wondering what brand of watercolor brush you recommend? Thank you again for the recap and showing us the process & transformation of your space.

Thanks Parisian farm girl,so creative. Do they all go outside then? Mine all go out the door when danger of frost is past and stay out until November. I’m glad to have a place for my plants, they have their own space too in our retirement home… I wasn’t going to have many plants but you know how that goes.
