*Please, they are my brothers! Don't hurt them!* Even if Robo wasn't even human... He still felt compassion for the ones who were destroying him. He was more human than most. Such a great character.

I have endless appreciation for these faithful orchestrations of Mitsuda's original compositions. We can have an idea of what Mitsuda was "hearing" when he composed these magnificent pieces on a compressed digital format, completely exploding its limitations. To me, he's easily one of the best recent composers. More than 25 years later, his music composed for a videogame is as alive as ever. Its incredible how people were deeply touched by his work.

So beautiful, so melancholic, so tearful. The scene of Robo's pummeling is the most known related to this music, but so is King Guardia and Marle's chat about her mother, after the second trial in the 'present' (to avoid spoilers)

Ah man this song is so emotional. Even though Azala was the enemy from the moment you came to 6,000,000 B.C., in they end they were only trying to preserve their race. They were just another victim of Lavos. The way Azala just accepts their death... and now with the beautiful cover... dang it the floodgates are opening.

Wow, you did a great job capturing the original feeling of the song and showcasing it with the increase in melodic tone at 00:24. I originally wanted to have this play in the background while writing a story piece; I had to stop the moment that part of the song came because of how it stressed the overwhelming nature of sadness/nostalgia that permeates throughout this piece. Like I said, great job in capturing the emotion in your own special way.

Thank you! I'm really glad you like my content. In Matthew Valente's defense, when he made his versions, most of these great sample libraries that I use didn't even exist. Also, I'm sure he didn't have nearly as much time to work on his versions because it was a part of a project with a deadline. I'm fortunate to be able to afford the best commercially available sample libraries and have nearly unlimited time and no externally imposed deadlines.
