Probably Chrono Trigger’s most overlooked area. Even in the “worst” dungeon the graphics are still exemplary, the music is still banging hard, and it’s still a ton of fun. This really is a special game

I know I'm a bit late to the party, but awesome job! Love all of the Chrono Trigger orchestrations. This song is very reminiscent of the Veldt (probably because both songs are by Nobuo Uematsu) and I enjoy when these prehistoric style songs are done well.

Since you went to the trouble to compile that list, it's only fair that I let you know my plans for the remaining tracks. I've been reluctant to post a track list because there are always tracks that I'm not satisfied with and have to abandon. "Guardia Millennial Fair" is an example of this. I originally wanted to include it in Vol. I, but after I got halfway through it, I realized that it just didn't sound impressive enough to be included in the collection. Anyway, at this point, I'm pretty sure I'll release "Tyrano Lair" and "Last Battle." They're basically finished, but I'm working out some problems with them now. I'd also really like to have "To Far Away Times" as the final track on the album. I made "At the Bottom of Night" a while ago, but I didn't release it because it didn't sound good enough. I might give it another shot. If not, "Magus' Castle (Outside and Inside)" is a track I made a very long time ago for a Chrono Trigger Skyrim mod. I might clean it up and upload it, but this would seem like a bit of a cop out since it's sort of a filler track. We'll see.

This beat is just funky, and the contrasting melodies fit together so well to make this primitive and mysterious music. I’m not sure the brass fits as well at 0:10 as compared to the original. Maybe making the trumpets more prominent, and the brass more staccato might have done the trick. Nevertheless, this orchestration definitely resounds with a primitive beat. I think 1:14 is my favorite part.

Battle 2 isn't on my list of 30 tracks because it wasn't in the original version of Chrono Trigger that I played in 1995. It's unlikely that I'll make it, though not impossible.

Singing Mountain was originally a candidate for my list because it sounds great and it would lend itself well to orchestration, but I decided not to do it because it wasn't in the version of the game that I played in 1995. I might do it in the far future though.

I just noticed something... Sorry to point this out but the XI on the clock is wrong. It should be XII.

Quite a few people have pointed that out before. Actually, if you view the video full screen at 1080p, you will see that it's an XII, not an XI. The problem is that when the image gets dithered down to a lower resolution, the two thin lines combine into one. I cleaned up the logo and used a clearer font for my album cover, but I decided to leave the KZbin version of the image as it is.
