This song conveys a plethora of emotions, but the main focus is on one: URGENCY. The race to stop Queen Zeal, the rush to stop Lavos, the quest to save the world. Throughout the ocean palace you are reminded you need to finish this, quickly - you are their only hope. Urgency, my friend, is what makes this song so good. You captured that feeling perfectly, and I was blown away. Kudos.

And that urgency is only underscored even further by the fact that it plays over every random enemy encounter. I love it! Definitely my favorite piece of music from the game!

i think RichaadEB caught the atmosphere of this dungeon even way better than the original did. What you described is so true, we have to stop queen zeal and we have to be fast , no leeway for errors.The doubling on the guitar really did it.. we have to be fast.. way faster.. we will not be fast enough :/ long lost memories come back to life with this track. this cover is worthy of my grace.

Agreed. Super rare for tracks to convey the exact feelings and emotions you're meant to feel during a scene/battle/etc. This one knocks it out of the park. It's epic, it's heavy, and the underlying rhythm gives you a sense of urgency and importance to what you're doing - racing to stop Zeal and save the world from Lavos.
