I've always thought the chronomalies where one of the coolest themed archetypes even if I don't enjoy their playstyle. Such a cool video idea to go through all their origins!

the vimana card artwork is what got my attention made me wanna find out more about the deck, until i over expect the rest of the deck got the same art style, but a huge let down , machu mech is ok ,almost suck , the chateau huyuk art is disappointing, the atlandis also really disappointing , the body needs more structures and buildings stuck on to the humanoid island , and where is Continent of Mu? or Lemurian legend? Babel Tower? hanging garden of babylon? it would have been some really badass monsters , so much potentials

So I live in Guanajuato, and your pronunciation is quite amusing xD I have some things to say about the artifacts on Mexico. First, the olmeca people resided where now are the states of Veracruz and Tabasco in Mexico , not Panama. The Teotihuacans where a different ethnic grup than the aztects. The city of Teotihuacan was already in ruins when the mexica established their empire. The esperanza stone being Mayan would definitely make it at OoP artifact. Mayans lived on the Yucatan peninsula, and Esperanza is very far away, like 36 hours by car.

I think Cabrera Trebuchet has that... Interesting artwork to connect it to Gimmick Puppets, since the Chronomaly user in the anime, Trey, is the brother of Quattro, user of said Gimmick Puppets.

In Magellan's time, people were regularly making voyages of extreme scale using maps only, and very crazy ones at that. Columbus legitimately did have some good reasons to believe he would set foot in Asia, as the most renowned and "accurate" cartographers in Europe were drawing maps that put Japan about where Mexico is. They were doing the best with that they had, evidently. Drawing the other side of the world is pretty hard unless you can do a lot of complicated math and you have an inhuman level of precision If Magellan had access to globes, they were probably not super useful, though maps were rapidly advancing and maybe globes were starting to come together as a more complete picture. This was a great video, by the way!

Yeah people keep saying Columbus was dumb when literally NOBODY knew the continent of America existed when there are other reasons to be calling the guy dumb these days.

Moai Interceptor Cannon is also a reference to Konami's Gradius series. (Just like the Vic Viper cards and the BES archetype.) As bonkers as some ancient aliens claims can get, I'm still pretty sure no one is actually saying the real Moai shoot lasers.

I am taking psychic damage and being poisoned every time you say 'Spinks' instead of SPHINX
@yeager19572 жыл бұрын
You see golden jet confirms that chronomoly cards are from the future because it’s a cyber dragon card that was sent to the past. As an aside on the sphinx there is a story, tho admittedly not proven and just here say, that Napoleon’s soldiers were bored while stationed there and decided to shoot the sphinx’s head with cannons. They couldn’t damage it much but they did supposedly break off the nose. At least that’s one common story, but take it with a grain of unsubstantiated salt.

17:42 Ah, Ccapac Apu (pronounced "Kah-Pac Ah-poo") Don't worry about butchering the pronunciation too much, it's a very old language with many many regional variations. Anyways, "Ccapac" (or Capac) means Lord, a ruler. "Apu" means literally mountain, or mountain-god, because mountains have been considered gods by Incan and pre-Incan people. So, "Ccapac Apu" would mean "Lord of the Mountain-God" or "God-Lord of the Mountain" and I think it's a very metal name

I played chrononaut in aliens, you can make it with two dogs and someone called a judge on me saying it's not an alien and doesn't benefit from the name but I showed them it's japanese name says it's an alien and I it was ruled in my favor, even though I think objectively I was in the wrong lol. Chrononaut let me stall for 2 more turns until I drew mass hypnosis and OTKd, good times.

It's Japanese name writes "alien" differently from the Alien archetype. エイリアン instead of エーリアン

The ancient aliens hypothesis isn't just pseudoscience, it's racist pseudoscience! Mostly. Its not uncommon for people to question how brown or black people could have built, say, the pyramids while they don't blink an eye at the massive ancient castles all over europe. So thats nice
