And the second question is why not just use staff with sigil of power on swap? It gives around the same boost without the minion tech? Or am I missing something?

Sigil of power is good , but you lose minion tech and -CD trick from unique shield , which is big part for this build!

Really like the video, thanks for sharing. Note to beginners like me: if you’re trying to replicate this build. There is a small hole in the video. You need a total of 100 spirits. Solar amulet itself has ~10 spirits and other modifiers give you a total of 90.

@@Ruztw Its fairly away from yours in terms of damage ha, and its sadly, quite buggy (hopefully devs will fix ignite procs, sometimes its quite bad), but im having fun and it works on pinnacle bosses + 1 button map clearing is relaxing, so who am i to complain haha, made it for explosions and live for them Took your idea about time stop on swap, its so great to use actually, gonna share with my chronomancer friends, i could not see some parts of chrono as quite useful, but now it all clicked

Frost bomb doing more damage than ice nova , like 4~5times...we use ice nova because there is no delay , for energy gain Frost bomb will always be better.

@@xilin9749 希望用中文你看得懂uwu。 你的傷害太低了，主要原因有兩個。 1.技能寶石的沒有提升上去，尤其是寒冰新星和冰牆的技能等級。 2.天賦樹和裝備放棄了過多的法術傷害，我目測現在甚至提升爆擊傷害的效率都比隨便拿一個法術傷害的低xd，建議把爆擊圈後面的增傷點一點，並先換一把法術傷害高的法杖，等之後傷害起來再換回來。(冰冷飽食等級也會+冰牆的生命) ps.冰牆減少生命的天賦沒必要別點，他不會增加能量獲取，提升傷害會更好。

So I rlly inspired by ur build and tried to replicate it but my comet doesn't seem to trigger as often as urs ( killing boss is okay but rlly terrible at mapping ) I just making it to endgame not long ago and pretty new to this game. what do u think is the problem ? my critical chance is around 70% but unfortunately I lack ( probably a lot ) area size, could this be a problem ? or maybe my critical chance is still too lacking and how much cast speed do u need to make this build playable ( especially when mapping and preferbably give me the info in the form of comet cd )

Area size is crucial for this build for both mapping and bossing. Make sure when you blast your frost wall , there is a enemy nearby your frost wall too. You will gain energy from 1.Ice nova 100% crit to monsters 2.Ice nova 100% crit to frost wall 3.Frost wall 50% crit to monsters

Cool video! I'm playing a similar build as invoker. By the way considered casting doesn't work with spells you don't cast yourself (comet in your coc setup) they patched it a while ago. I use the More Area Damage support as it's 40% more damage.

You will need do manual weapon swap & less CD temporal rift to solve the mana problem at low budget version. If you have the money , just buy one Melting Maelstrom , it will solve all the problems LUL.

I want to adapt some of this for easier boss kills into my build while also keep it for mapping. I have everlasting gaze as an amulet which does not allow for 90 spirit with focus offhand. What would be the best idea to still get enough spirit for archmage and CoC or would you just skip the amulet, feels risky to only have normal life and mana (which at times drop to almost 0) to keep you alive.

For bossing , chronomancer way better then stormweaver! For mapping , chronomancer got better defense , but stormweaver got better clear speed.

How important is hitting those stats on that wand? Something like that goes for at least 1div nowadays. Even 75% crit chance with like a sixth of the mana is 30 exalts. I haven’t checked the other gear, but I’m guessing the build is up to several divs currently, but that does seem reasonable for this amount of power (though I’m sure it’ll be nerfed into the ground soon enough.) Edit: yeah, a very similar wand to yours is currently starting at 2 div. Which once, again, makes sense with that level of power and isn’t a slight against the video. Second edit: actually, everything else is so cheap that the build’s still around 3 div if you go for a good approximation. Technically several divs, but not bad at all.

The + all cold spell skills part is actually not that important on low budget , More level = More mana cost = less comet still work on here. I priority them second because they are so cheap when I recording this , well , I can't control market :( . For the power level... everything is already overkill in this video , if you can't buy that 2d wands , use second & third time freeze should do the same result i hope. Many thanks to update the actual price for this build today now!

@ Honestly, I’m impressed the build managed to stay that cheap considering how powerful it is. The whole thing’s cheaper than a decent pair of HoWaA even including plus to skills, and the whole build’s still around a divine from what I’m seeing if you just skip the plus to skills on the wand! The first example popping up is a 90% increased spell damage, 137 mana, 98% spell crit, and 21% cast speed wand for a single exalt, with room for two more slams. Thank you for the build and for the input on an even more budget option!

I am using sceptre with 200 spirit and max mana and it worked pretty well. Because I have a lot spirit I also activate elemental flux(forgot the name of it sorry) which gives me about average 40% damage buff, But I didn't allocate those curse passive skills and saved all of them for critical chance and critical damage. However the bad news is that I bought my sceptre 2 weeks ago with 1e, it costs at least 1d now, if you want a malice one(with critical weakness), it costs much higher.

What I did until I got more damage was to pick 3 points on the tree that reduced the life of the Ice Crystals by 60%. Shattered Crystal is the name of the node.

Is it OK to lower the level of frost wall so you can one hit them while mapping with nova or does it reduce the energy gain for COC?

It won't! energy is depends on your damage & energy gain!

@@EnolaDab Yes, after you create the ice wall, you can hit it with the Ice Splash skill (I don’t remember the exact name). Each critical hit destroying the ice wall counts as if the wall were an enemy, and destroying it with crits, builds up the COC.

Super cool build. I've been experimenting a lot with chronomancer but I haven't seen such a successful build! Awesome I think what I have in mind makes mapping better but sacrifices bossing power, but I think that's fine given how insane chronomancer is at bossing

@Ruztw I love using eye of winter + unleash + chain. Currently using Cof for clear but I'm gonna try coc to see of eye of winter stacks up energy with coc as fast as it does with cof I use scepter in off hand for triple Cof + blasphemy but I want to test other things
