@sasacc322 Well, it was the norm so it wasn't creepy. When I rewatch stuff from my childhood now I find it uncanny and weird, but I remember that when I watched the same stuff as a kid it didn't feel that way - times have changed and there are way more new stuff with more pleasing aesthetics.

I actually yelled out loud "OH GOD DAMMIT" at the last part of Otto's segment. It's really really depressing knowing that alot of child entertainers seem to end up going in the route of doing unspeakable things. 😢 Edited this post since saying “most entertainers” is too harsh and not true. I’ll never understand people who are sensitive about wrong pronunciations. An accent is by definition pronouncing words in a slightly different way, and even people who have been speaking a second language for years still have accents. If someone gets close enough for you to understand them you should appreciate the effort

The story of Otto seemed like an AI generated string of pictures/clips, that's how soulless and scary that suit is. I could not take it seriously for half of it, until it sank in that there was a person behind the suit, equally soulless. 20:46 "about" 25% done, doesn't prove there's an alpha available, not even "perhaps". When games are at 25% "done", that can mean they did all the storyboards / drew (on paper) some level design and inspirational stuff / did some promotional videos showcasing a map and character design. They don't even need to have started, basically. Picking the engine is half the work.

I thought the same thing and checked the video for a pink outline. There are a few youtubers who make content that is fake but sounds real, and they have the video outlined in pink to show that it’s fake. But this is definitely real, it’s just weird that it didn’t get ANY recognition before like many other show mascots like Ratafak Plachta, Morso, Fofao, etc. who were all popular in the lost media circuit since the 2000s.
