Interesting to read your comment, Craig. Just last week, I had a very similar experience with my mom (89) who also suffers from dementia. She was very driven and restless that day - when, in utter dispair, I started to play RUNRIG's "THE STORY" for my own sanity. Miraculously, mom almost instantly calmed down, reached for my hand, and appeared content and at peace. Amazing. 🎶 🏴 🙏

My husband introduced me to Runrigs music when I was 40, I am 71 now and never ever heared a voice like Donnie Munros, not ever. When they sang in Gaelic I didnt know it and thought that my ears were playing up again. I saw them live many times. I prefer Mr Munros voice, it is Runrig. Sorry but I wasnt keen on the fat geezer who replaced him, dont want to upset anyone, I know the bloke has passed on, and that is sad.

Donnie Monroe is brilliant, but his dancing detracts from his lyrics... There’s just something not right about it. He’d be be better just standing still and singing!
