Yooo after a oil change and thermostat change and ac condenser change and was still having the same problem..I was ready to throw my car away to junk yard...it was on for 6 months couldnt find the problem my car wouldnt turn on and wouldnt go into park... after I seen this video I changed it..my car is running like a champ!!! my charger has the same engine, its a common issue. 15bucks and 20 minutes roughly of time, thanks brother...saved over 200 bucks from the car shop

***** you can try to unplugged when the engine its warm, not hot because you can burn your hands,,, it has a lock, like a little clip that you have to pull up with your finger and pull it back, but shouldn't be hard,try to take your time so you won't damage it,

Love to watching this the way he says chassis is hilarious and I love it and I'm so confused on how he goes in between and out of the accent. My best recommendation is to not get the 2.7 L that engine is total trash, the 3.5 L doesn't cost any more on the private market and is substantially better than the 2.7 l, the 2.7 are notoriously terrible and completely underpowered for the vehicle. I don't know if anyone else has the same issue I am having but I am getting a clicking in my engine when I start my car unless I crank it without turning it over all the way and starting it a couple times then it will go away it's like I need a circulate the oil after it sits overnight I'm hoping that replacing the oil pressure sensor will help fix this issue because I'm really not trying to crack this engine open I absolutely hate doing engine work

Youre lucky where your oil pressure switch is located, i have a 2007 Chrysler Sebring with the 2.7 V6, on mine the exhaust and the passenger side CV axle are in the way. Ive been driving mine for months leaking oil and smoking and my oil pressure light acting up.

did your car turn off when it got hot? my oil light doesn't come on until the needle hits the half mark then it also shuts off.

Your welcome,well i bought it at AutoZone but first you have to check oil level and that you are using the right one for your engine,if you're using the wrong oil it can also bring the light up.

No,no es nesesario por q cuando el vehiculo a estado estacionado por unos 10 minutos minimo el aceite se queda abajo en la pen o charola,poreso despues de manejarlo deja por unos 10 minutos o asta que este frio de preferencia para q no te quemes pero no lo tienes que tirar

Did you figure your issue out? Mine was the Front crankshaft oil seal, never anything on the ground.
