Beautiful work! So many things that are unique on this one Peter. I bet you have gave a LOT of installers and DIY guys a few new ideas.....like the using the black Plexi (Perspex....I looked it up...they are the same...lol) as a mirror to show off the cones! I sure hope most pick up on thing here, SAFETY! I've seen first hand how installs can become projectiles during an accident. It's painful, sad, and then even worse comes the lawsuits if someone installed it incorrectly. Even if it was a friend in the driveway. It happened in Atlanta back in 1993 with 2 high school guys installed a box in a hatch. It rolled over and killed the driver......just awful. It really doesn't take much longer and even makes for a stronger install that looks and last longer too. Thanks Peter for highlighting this in your install when most only want to show the glam.

Justin Exactly, safety is always number 1 on the list! Also, the more solid the build, the better! Less resonance, less rattle!
@justinmurphy22275 жыл бұрын
@@pssound9749 I've been meaning to ask you about this. I've seen installs where the box and amp rack are eventually integrated with the vehicle itself like yours or I have tried to isolate the sub enclosure from any metal. It's either installed in a floating method or semi isolated with rubber feet or sand underneath. Honestly I do agree how do you build yours. You had mass and mass doesn't want to move resonate.. It never gets old seeing the absence of MDF!
@pssound97495 жыл бұрын
Justin Due to the fact that the box has to be mounted secure, it’s pretty impossible to isolate it!

Peter I heard u saying how low these subs can dig. What did u think of the sub you had up front in ur car? The Mille Legend subwoofer. Did it perform well? How much power do they need to give good output? And finally, Would u actually run two of them (10’s) in the rear?

How do you wire two subs together? I think if you have multiple subs you should always wire them in parallel because otherwise they will have different phases and will not be exactly synchronized
@pssound97494 жыл бұрын
Karan Kasraei parallel or series or combination of both...doesn’t matter at all. What you think and what happens in reality are 2 different things.
@karankasraei80254 жыл бұрын
@@pssound9749 of course you are right, my point is totally from an electronic perspective that is bothering me, because two reactive elements(subs in this case) wired in series will have different phases when a signal passes through them

How is that a Chrysler 300C, when it has a hatch? 300's are a sedan, with a separate trunk. Not knocking on the build, looks very nice, but that is not a 300. it has to be either a 200 ( maybe fat fingered the 3?) or a Dodge Magnum
