I have a ‘70 440 Six Pack 4 speed, in Vitamin C Orange and black interior. No vinyl top. So that’s my favorite. 😀

I love em all...but I have a soft spot for the 74s with the underrated 360 4 Barrel. The last of the breed.

The '74 360 had 245 (NET) HP. That would be a GROSS closer to 300 HP. It was underrated. After '71 ratings were changed from NET to Gross HP which automatically underrated the power numbers.

Sounds about right. I was just reading a base '71 Corvette had 270 gross HP and 210 NET.

The 340 was not available on a '70 Challenger R/T.

Yes, only on the base model Challenger and of course the Six Pack for the TA.

I put a 70 Challenger hood on a 81 Dodge 3/4 ton 4x4 and painted it Plum crazy Purple in 91 it wasn't just the 1st Purple Dodge truck but it was the 1st to have a rally hood on it I still have the Purple truck but the hood is now on our Hemi Orange Mudbogger the Purple truck is to rusty and is now a lawn ornament we also have a 71 Hemi Orange Cuda drag car in our collection
