What problems did you have to begin with? Mine will drive in reverse, but wont go in drive. It will start to go in drive, but then just stops. Any info will help. Thanks

Levi Young a lot of issues can cause your problem, how ever the lack of a gear engaging or remaining engaged can easily be the solenoid pack being weak or faulty. If the fluid isn’t burnt it is likely this will solve the issue. If your fluid is burnt you may have internal problems in the transmission

Hi Mr Jesse I have a 09 Sebring it shifts ok and then on the down shift rpm jumps up through every gear it's going down

Okay so, How would you remove that third bolt holder thing if you'd not known about that, Put the solenoid in with all three; and it sucked it in and refused to shift after ?

Dwayne Jackson hello, there are a number of things that could cause the issue, first step I would recommend is a quality scan tool and verify the vehicle is setting a code for a solenoid issue. And engine lights etc?

I have the same issue right now but the code reads p0700 and p1864 I tried changing speed sensor and dropped the transmission pan drained and put new transmission filter and still stuck in 1st or 2nd. I was trying cheap stuff first. Did u change that shifter solenoid cause that's my next thing?

Dude.. I think you're working too hard. If you're doing what I think you're doing. I replaced my speed sensor on my Dodge stratus. I did mine from under the car. I see you're doing everything from on top.
