I really like the 4.0 lots of power and few complaints in contrast to the 3.8

Gotta be careful going back on that you don't dislodge that o-ring on the back where the EGR tube goes in. Mine got sucked straight through the plenum into the #3 runner of the intake manifold, just sitting there resting against a valvestem & somehow didn't drop into the cylinder upon starting/revving. Fished it out with a piece of mechanic's wire, completely unharmed. 🤣🤣

I have a 2010 T&C 4.0L V6. Can you tell me where the crankshaft sensor is? Mine needs replaced and I cannot seem to locate it.

robertleal49 yes, procedure should be the same although I have not worked on one, looking at the engine it looks the same.

Hey, just put it in the new ignition coils and spark plugs. I also replaced the upper gasket. I recommend getting a vacuum cleaner and sucking up all the brittle plastic from the wire protector. Pretty straight forward procedure. Actually the Pacifica has more play room.

HELP !!! I AM AN OWNER OF A ~ 4.0 Chrysler~Town & Country 2010.. It started making a gurgeling sound in the engine which lasted about a week and progressively got worse until it died. So Now I am stuck trying to take the heads off of the motor. Does amyone have any tips? Or Maybe anyone done this before, maybe I can walk me through it, pLease......

I've not taken heads off yet.. When the car was running did it out out alot of white or bluish white smoke?
