[ spoiler alert! ] I heard that Dan Oh died in Kyung's arms in the webtoon but I don't know if they'd do the same in the drama. There's a LOT of changes on the drama, the story isn't exactly the same in webtoon. I just hope they'd give Kyung and Dan Oh a happy ending, I wish they'd end up together.🥀

When you think about it, Baekyung is always the one in most pain, in the webtoon, manhwa & seems like in this drama too: he never gets the girl. Not even one moment where She could really see that he loves her. Not a chance. How sad & cruel of the writernim!

@@tinysingh5596 I get what you’re saying but the writer made it her characteristic to be pitiful since she has a heart disease, but I just feel like Baekyung was never explored properly. Like, his trauma and psychological blockages were never cleared, nor did he receive any appropriate closure? For example, he witnessed his mother in her deathbed, then soon after, his father’s new wife and their son, with whom he felt replaced. Then there’s also the fact that his father was always extremely selfish, thought only of himself and even rejected Baekyung on multiple occasions. It’s literally shown how his father always displays resentful behavior discreetly with Baekyung in the room. Where was the settling of whatever tension was caused to his character as a result of all of that? None. Finally, he reciprocates Dan-Oh’s feelings, even if they may be staged, but he gets nothing at the end of it. Other than a friendship, which also seemed quite one-sided to be completely honest, he had no happy ending. So I definitely agree that the writers - in the show AND out of the show - really did him dirty :(

Kyung is a man of regret i hate how he makes Dan oh in stage but then I realize he was just in pain himself he can’t let anyone come into his life cause he’s afraid that he will be left out just just how his mother left 😭 Kyung is just hurting y’all he needs more attention and love because he can’t feel that with his family I feel so bad for him #secondleadsyndrome😭😢

Before y’all blame bae kyung, let me tell you this first. He loved Dan oh ever since they were a child and the reason why he kept hurting her is because the writer wanted him to be mean to everyone and don’t forget that he also had his problems with his own family. He tried to hate Dan oh because he knows that his father will just use her weakness for business and money. He loves her and he knows her the best.😉 (no hate guys🤗🤗🤗)

Well it's not Baek Kyung's fault why he couldn't like Dan Oh. Infact, he loves her on the shadow but not in the stage. Baek Kyung in shadow and Baek Kyung in stage aren't the same just like how Dan Oh like him on stage but not in shadow. It's the authors fault, ge made Baek Kyung like that, that is his role, he can't change it

The webtoon is called "July Found By Chance". The webtoon is actually good, been reading it till season 1 cause I don't understand the webtoon (maybe because the translation isn't accurate). Many things have change in the drama, but I prefer the ending of the webtoon cause Dan Oh didn't end up with anyone. I like sad endings😂

mood sthetic Really?! In "July Found By Chance" Dan Oh didn't end up with Haru?! If that really happened then I would like to read the webtoon hahaha but it's sad Dan Oh died :( It should've just Haru disappeared so that Dan Oh ended up with Kyung :) Imagine from the start that Haru doesn't exist, I think Dan Oh will fell in love with Kyung in shadow like Juda fell in love with Nam Ju in shadow.

I think kyung didn't have much of character development tbh. He didn't deserve Dan oh with how badly he treated her and haru was the one for her from the beginning. Kyung treated everyone around him like pure trash although I know many of the scenes were on stage and he had to do it because that what was in the comic but the fact he choose to do it even after the scenes were wrapped up doesn't justify his behaviour.
