love this whole first Chuck and Sarah scene and the piggy bank of course too!! My favorite part though.... "Hey baby"!! Love those little moments between these two that make it seem like such a real relationship!

Assuming of course, that she really told Shaw the truth about her real name.

@@ErikLeber-td7oj That's pretty much a given. Yeah, yeah, I know some of the fans hated that so much that they hounded the creators to the point that they said otherwise to get them to drop it, but that scene with Shaw still _makes no sense_ if Sarah is lying about her name. It becomes totally _pointless_ if Sarah is lying. Sarah was mad at Chuck, and angry at him for not going with her when they were going to try and run away. She was tired of failed relationships and maybe figured she needed to do something different with Shaw. Telling him her name when she had kept Chuck in the dark was a way to hurt Chuck, though probably only subconsciously. Her name is Sam.

Fair enough. But then again, she did spend the first 2 1/2 seasons lying to Chuck about her feelings, and she actually loved him the entire time. And as you said, she was just trying to get back at Chuck, so who knows? Maybe she told Shaw the truth, and maybe she didn't. That's all I'm saying.

@@ErikLeber-td7oj Yeah, she lied to Chuck in the first 2.5 seasons left and right...but for _reasons_ . They weren't always _good_ reasons, but they were always comprehensible. They made sense on their own terms. For her to lie to Shaw in that infamous, fan-hated scene makes no sense on any level. If she wants to lash out at Chuck, even subconsciously, telling Shaw a fake name _doesn't do that_ . Giving him a fake name wouldn't hurt Chuck at all (and remember that she didn't know Chuck was watching, so there wouldn't even be a reason to make him _think_ she had done it). As a way of lashing out at Chuck, giving Shaw a fake name is 'so what'? If she didn't want Shaw to know her real name, all she had to do was say she didn't want to give it. As an agent, that would be a perfectly reasonable excuse. Again, no reason to make up a fake name. The only way that scene makes any sense in context is if Sarah gave Shaw her real name.

the look sarah has when chuck says "your favorite...Chicken pepperoni." makes it seem like it is not her favorite at all.... Didn't Ellie say it was gross?
@laserdrucker94614 жыл бұрын
Yeah it's a substory of the episode that it's actually gross and he was lied to. Hey, where are you in life since it's been almost a decade?
