The call backs in that those last episodes were excellent, from Sarah getting to the intersect room the same way that Bryce did, to the weinerlicious, to the irene demova virus, then finally the dvd mission logs and the beach. It just fell into place perfectly!

The hope in her voice when she says "Will it Work?" It's nearly identical to the way she asks him to tell her "our story" at the end. Makes it clear that her coldness towards him during the rest of the episode, and in the courtyard at the end of the previous one, was so she could go back to "Nothing but a spy" Sarah until they could stop Quinn, and "get back my life."

100% and it proved she was feeling and remembering but shut it out, to focus on the mission. She remembered the cups and Irene Damova, other things will come back eventually. Her memories weren't erased just blocked temporarily, she just needs a key to unlock them, a jump starter. who knows what she was remembering before Chuck arrived at the beach, possibly a lot. She could have left but she didn't. The writers screwed up but they left bread crumbs throughout the final episodes that proves everything will be fine. If she fell for Chuck before fixing her phone, I'm sure she will fall for a guy that saved the world and gave her a life she thought she could never have for the past 5 years. I'm sure the kiss sealed it at the end. Maybe it worked like the intersect glasses. It's a TV show.

I will never understand why so many people felt it was necessary to have the *intersect* restore Sarah, when we got to watch her already start to fall in love with Chuck all over again. We got to see the memories are still there and resurfacing. We got to see that Sarah *wants* to remember and *wants* Chuck to kiss her. People keep saying it was left up in the air, but it wasn’t. Memories or not, Sarah and Chuck are inevitable and unstoppable.

Yes, she will fall in love with Chuck again, but everything they have gone through, everything that she learned about herself and Chuck is mostly gone and that's what sucked because we as the fans saw her lose straight up 5 seasons/ hours of character development that was integral to the show's charm, dynamic, and heart, especially as the show reached its end. I understand it's implied she'll get them back, but I think the writers made a mistake in making it ambiguous. Honestly I wouldn't have minded this arc at all if it didn't not only feel so last minute, but if it had actually shown us a moment clarifying that she in fact remembers everything.

It's unclear whether he'd be allowed to keep it post episode/tv show. He did steal it and was involved with the destruction of the only other intercept. I'd imagine DARPA would be a little upset with the whole BLOWING UP THEIR INTERCEPT WHITE ROOM,, but General Beckman will probably put in a good word for him. So from this point until the end of the episode (and therefore the end of the series), yes he is the intercept again.

With Ellie’s knowledge of the brain and chucks engineering and just all around smartness they could of built one. Fulcrum was able to build one, so did the ring and manoosh was able to build one granted just with fighting abilities, but nevertheless he built one

@@damonestephens8722 The point of this episode was the intersect wasn't needed to restore her memories, she was already remembering things. She was feeling for Chuck ever since she stole the glasses, she knew something was off, she even let him touch her after he said "It's me, you're Chuck" I'm sure that phrase made her remember something. Quinn sensed she was remembering and told her to get out of there, he didn't want her feelings to ruin his plans. She also refused to blow the building. Old Sarah wouldn't question orders. Seeing him helps her remember things, she kept saying she was leaving and never did, she couldn't because her life is with Chuck. Chuck was her home. She was being distant with him to focus on the mission. She was an emotional wreck. She went back to the Buymore to see Chuck, after saying goodbye to him the night before. She made it seem like she was there to get his help, she was fighting her feelings. When he said what are you doing here, she got nervous and worried a bit. She probably was thinking she was a fool for a second, then Chuck noticed and said let's try that again, It's nice to see you and she felt relief. Then when he asked to go with her, she said " I can't do this, I don't know how to be the woman that you remember, Chuck never said anything about that, that was her fighting herself internally. She never said she couldn't be that woman, she said she didn't know how to be, meaning she wants to be., She fixed his tie on that mission and wanted to kiss him but she was in spy mode focused on the mission. She never stop feeling for Chuck, no intersect needed.

Even without that he over the course of the show had all the plans for the intersect from his father and, I dont remember him getting rid of them. Plus they had the specs on the key which could have been reconstructed. However narratively the ending makes much more sense since it's a call back to the rest of the show where chuck does the right thing and, it allows for that really awesome beach scene where it is heavily implied based on episode 4x09 that the magic kiss does restore their memories.

Good show but man chuck was a beta. Which I’m guessing was the writers fault. Never allowed to use a gun and always needing a women to save him. Kinda of pathetic how after 5 years he still was only allowed to use a tranq gun.

He had been a trained spy by then so he was allowed to use any gun (like the Desert Eagle of Casey in this last episode in Berlin), he just decided not to. His character was the opposite of Sarah and Casey who had been trained to kill without second guesses. Chuck never intended to kill anybody just protect those in need. The writers did his character justice (Sarah even said to him once, this is why she had fallen in love with him in the first place). This is one of the reasons this show was different because the main character did not become a cold-hearted killer in his heart despite his enhanced abilities to be one. He remained true to his values.
