James and Cory, awesome podcast! Chuck is such a quality person, and we are so lucky he is involved in the growth of our domestic series. I feel Wayne, Chuck and the whole team are coming from the right place to continue to grow Motoamerica, and work toward finding more talent to compete and succeed in Europe. And congratulations on becoming a part of Live+, I'll be looking forward to your program.

Congrats to you all on being added to MotoAmerica Live+. I enjoyed listening to this episode and getting to know Chuck. I see him around but didn’t know much about his background. Looking forward to listening to more episodes. You two are doing a great job hosting and wishing you both the best in racing for the remaining season.

I was brainstorming and was wondering if a supermoto class with the 450 motocross bikes would be possible. might bring over more of the supercross fans. tracks like road america would probably need some kinks on the straights, but those 450's would finally have a platform where they need all that power lol. Mid Ohio would be a really good candidate for that because it already has the shortcut that halves the back straight. for superbike/supersport, a fly away round to anywhere in europe would be amazing too. would be great exposure for the talent currently in the series. BSB went to Assen a couple times, but I know it would be really tough for American teams to make that trip :( I do think this season is the best season so far for Moto America :)

We need all the factories back. Kawasaki and Honda at least. Focus on the Kramer bikes. Cancel twins cup. Stock 1000 every round.
@pipedreams_pod2 ай бұрын
@@marcplatek3113 That would be great but it seems those days are gone! Hopefully we will continue to adapt to create new opportunities without their support.

@@marcplatek3113In my opinion, Twins is a valuable pice of the puzzle. That class is making superbike teams not just superbike riders. There are plenty of riders and rider centric classes and not enough techs. The growth of the sport and series is more dependent on non-rider talent and investors. Team centric classes attract investment and sponsorship if you want more paid/free seats and competent techs and crew this is a good path. It takes all of us to put on the show and the gratitude is not always there for everyone in that regard.

It’s sad that Pitt won’t come back. It’s not a round that I can attend from my locale, but the energy was palpable thru the screen. The track was visually exciting to watch, too. Pitt was a payoff for subscribers, even if the attendance capacity is limited. I think it would be cool to do a middle distance endurance race at COTA, similar to the 200, but with Superbikes. Not in September. During the preseason if it can be done without overshadowing the 200.

MotoAmerica already has a rider who can go to Europe and win world championships. Her name is Kayla. Maybe she has her sights set higher than a women’s world championship, but she has the potential to take a world title if she wants it. A world champ is a world champ, and it would be cool to have her name added to the list of American world champs.
@Mechashiva762 ай бұрын
definitely, but if you recall from her interview on pipe dreams, she has no interest in racing in a women's championship. amongst other things, she said she wants to race where the fastest racers are. I think she does have her sights set on the world platform, but deep down, my hopes are that motoamerica is able to ascend to what it once was and considered its own "world level" championship (Other than phillip island, it probably covers a larger area than WSBK :P ). I'd like to see her be able to do what Ben Spies did in the AMA :) even if she makes it to WSBK, based on Bautista's weight punishment, Kayla would have to carry close to 20lbs to meet the minimum rider/bike weight. That is totally not fair. I understand minimum bike weights, but punishing the rider for their "talent" is stupid. So, unless they change the rules, I really have no desire to see Kayla race in WSBK.

Great podcast, yall asked excellent probing questions. I do find his comments interesting, per their own numbers, this is by far the least viewed year in a long time. Sure the social media is growing in terms of followers but the engagement rations are down as well. Attendance in person is a little lower than last year as well. Think that will change once Ohio is posted but who knows.
