I never understood how chuck was blamed for all of this. He asked her was she sure. She consented. Its not like he raped her. Blair was angry at Chuck because it’s Jenny😂 Blair hates her forever + she thought that it was ridiculous because Chuck told her he’d be waiting @ Empire State Building for her to apologize yet at the same night, he already slept with Jenny. later Chuck told Blair that he was sorry for only waiting about 2mins @ Empire State Building

(ik this is 7 years later but..) I hated Jenny ever since season 1. Jenny was just playing victim and it’s not Chucks fault that she later regretted it bc she found out he was going to purpose, But I also hate Dan in this scene because he had no right to punch Chuck, it is as much of Jenny’s fault as Chucks. She said yes so it isn’t like he raped her. However later in the show it its revealed that Dan has loved Blair for a while, meaning he really just used this opportunity to blame Chuck making Blair mad at Chuck and maybe he thought Blair would like him instead. In the end i’m glad Blair got to know the truth.

Ok but he was an adult when he decided to sleep with her and he’s been drunk so many times. I also don’t believe she was trying to blame victim like can’t you see she is truly hurt and messed up. Okay, my friends in comments! I love giving my opinion on TV-shows so I went to this video since it's both a very popular show and a very controversial scene. I'm going to write a lot since I love writing. Hahahahaha!😂 I decided to watch this scene again and understand completely how it was getting reviewed and seen because I was extremely confused when watching it for the very first time. So, here's how I view this and who I belive was truly wrong during the entire situation. In my personal opinion, Dan wasn't the bad guy in here in any possible way. After season 1, I don't really symphatise with him, to be honest. He was amazing before but then he started getting completely lost. In here, he was being a good, protective, caring brother and I wonder how many girls need and would love to have such a understanding one by their side. If Blair should be upset ? They were broken up, but I do get her reaction. What I tought was weird is how they've gotten throught sooo much and Chuck already messed up a lot. So why would she be so suprised? I think differently from most people commenting "Jenny wasn't innocent" or "it's not Chucks fault"(I'm not trying to be rude, I absolutely get what you guys mean, I was just writing your statements so that I could think straight). I know I'm going to get judged for saying this but I actually do think the one who defeniatly isn't faultless in here is Chuck. At least were I live, age of consent is 18. I know he was heartbroken and I get it, but it doesn't means he wasn't guilty. Jenny going to his apartement could perfectly be seen as Stockholm Syndrome. He attempted to assault her once, so, when her mental state was clearly not healthy(she was depressed), she went to him for comfort and probably as a way of punishing herself. It's not okay for an adult who remembers and apologysed for his mistakes to get drunk and take advantage of that just because he was lonely. If I think Jenny never did mistakes? No, I don't. But I don't think she's as guilty as what people say about her. She wasn't fine. What if he was her teacher? Would people react the same way?

Also Jenny was a virgin most importantly young in such age even if you don't love the person you give your virginity to, you still expect some for of affection before this scene blair told her nobody loves her except for her dad and now when she slept with chuck almost immediately he went back with blair its teen vanity
