I was invited to, Chuck E. Cheese Arlington Heights, by a friend since he knew I was a fan. Great time playing the games (especially Air Hockey) and told Chuck some brain rot memes lol
Arlington Heights (955 West Dundee Rd, Store #688) was a former showbiz, opened in 1981 and was the third showbiz in the state. (Later getting the 1988 remodel in ‘88 or ‘89) In 1991, the store would get Concept Unification and turn into a CEC. In Late 1998, Arlington Heights got Phase 3 along with a Studio C Alpha, the first in the state. It would remain almost untouched until in 2015, they re-located to 41 W Rand Rd with Phase 5 along with a 2015 dance floor. (Second dance floor installed in a CEC) Basically everything was untouched until September 2024, where they got 2.0 and upgraded the dance floor, Arlington Heights had the last 2015 dance floor in existence.

This store literally just got the white paint job on the exterior. They made this location super bland. Not to mention they had the last 2015 model showroom, it didn’t even last 10 years.
