I'm listening to this sermon in October of 2023 how can anyone doubt the word of God? Chuck missler went on to be with the Lord in 2018 yet the message he preaches in this video seems like it's come straight out of the news of today. Wake up America. Praise God!!

In the light of what I have seen as a poor response from some churches to this barbaric Yom Kippur War (2023), I revisited Psalm 137, verses 5 & 6 specifically. Next up was verse 7, which mentions Edom, which has been somewhat 'enigmatic' to me. As I began to search it out a bit, I was very blessed to find this very insightful message. God always comes through, this time through Chuck Missler, yet again. 👍 50 years ago, on active duty, some of US were on standby to depart for Israel during the 1973 Yom Kippur War. The problem with Christians is truth is irrelevant, the end justifies the means. The number of lawyers indicted with Trump is the shame of Justice. Atheism doesn't explain anything, but the faithful don't have any standards for explanations. It cannot be moral or ethical to suggest there is a god. As if one should respect the suggestion, we all travel with one foot in fantasyland, using a fantasyland vocabulary. You know them by their works, so what does it tell you about those advocating prayer? Nothing fails like prayer in a children's hospital. Who advocates faith, when it is worthless if you can't move mountains using faith & verbal commands to landscape? What kind of person speaks of god as if we did not have a saying: God helps those helping themselves, because gods have a perfect record of doing nothing, outside of fiction. No wonder Freud wrote the antidote to Christianity is literacy.

I served in the Army for 7 years and later in my life I had to come to realize that this statement that Chuck made is 100 percent correct. What greater love is there than that which gives of himself for another? I campaigned against the war but still consider you my younger brother in Christ. Just as an American, I also lauded "patriotism" as highly honorable. I've realized that is propaganda to keep the masses supporting a war machine country and we have sacrificed our most honorable citizens to the wars of merchants. If we had all the people who have given their life or career to military service using their devotion to America and their skills for the benefit of their communities we could have had an awesome society. Instead we are a slave country and the captives just live in bigger cells. They are taught that giving their time, family, and life away to industry is honorable and for their devotion they get to have the chance to be in debt to the latest fashion, electronics,car, house). That keeps them serving the machine. It's so sad how deluded we have been. That said, it does not diminish the gratitude and honor due our brothers and sisters who have given their lives and time to military service. Thank you to all who have given so much. Pray for Americans to shake off their chains and find Jesus the only worthy one to give it all to.

Its 2023, and i have just come across the great chuck Mesler. His sermons are eye opening. But i really enjoy reading the comments. There are some really intelligent and sold out people here. This is a great surprise, and makes my heart so glad. As i look at where we are in this time in history, and what a mess the United States is in, and the whole world for that matter, i am filled with hope at the many sold out to Jesus and kingdom work that must be done. The world is dark, and peoples hearts even darker, but there is also much light that will grow brighter and brighter as we get closer and closer to the return of the king. Sometimes its hard to see any light when you stay in yohr corner, but its a joy to read comments and know that the light is being turned up even more as the encroaching darkness seems to asend upon us all. There is hope. Joy. And an army of God that is being assembled that i dont believe the enemy will see to good until its on him. He cant stop whats coming. We are on the threshing floor, and all thats not of God is being shaken off of us all. Soon, and very soon that glorious Bride will arise. Waiting for her groom.

Some believe there will be a progressive rapture, something C. Missler may have been suggesting at min. 53. Progressive in that some who are closer to being the "bride" (i.e., sanctified) will be taken first, with others not ready will remain, UNTIL they are sanctified. So, there will be waves of raptures spaced in time. Controversial, but seems to make some sense (being left behind will prompt you to get your act together)

Someone else mentioned the parable of the virgins/bridesmaids as a foreshadowing of the progressive rapture. Not sure what will happen, but there seems to be some scripture to support this. I'm not the expert, just saying it could be a possibility. And seems to make a lot of sense.

Zechariah 10 tells us that Ephraim, the chief son of Joseph to whom Jacob gave the blessing that he received from the Angel (the blessing that has the name 'Israel' attached to it) is gathered, scattered to the nations, and re-gathered to Lebanon and Gilead. Zechariah 11 tells us that the staff 'Bands' gets cut asunder to separate Israel from Judah. The separation of Judah and Israel came at the same time that, both, the staff 'Beauty' (which stood for the Old Covenant) was broken AND that thirty pieces of silver were paid to Judas Iscariot. The exiled children of Israel regained identity at that time- as marked by Peter preaching, in Acts 2, first, to the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and then, to the men of Israel and their children, both, near and far off. So Israel was being reformed by the New Covenant right there in Jerusalem. However, the persecution believers experienced under the Jews drove them out, and scattered them, again. Israel will be re-gathered to Lebanon and Gilead.
