Very glad it was a PG movie as I saw this 9 times at the theatre when I was 15. My favorite Chuck Norris movie ever. Still watch it to this day every so often.

In 1983 for Lone Wolf McQuade, Carradine was mostly remembered as the guy from the Kung Fu tv series that ended in 1975. In 1983, Carradine hadn't been in any memorable films in several years. A lot of his work in the '80s was bit parts in television shows, and a lot of forgettable low-budget films.

Of course, when Chuck says he would "meet with executives" to "convince" them to change his movie's rating, what he really means is that he's going to have to put the fear of Chuck in them, at which point they'll cower & concede, "Whatever you say, Mr. Norris!". Chuck was very nice regarding David Carradine, though; watch the movie, Carradine was clearly an absolutely pathetic martial artist, if he was hitting people on the set that was just the "star" being an asshole, Chuck should've given that prick a little taste of his own medicine.

I did not like Chuck Norris with a beard. He looked to much like a cowboy unlike his normal martial arts look when he was clean shaven. Any movie chuck had in the late 70s or early 80s before lone wolf McQuade I enjoyed. He was not the same anymore starting with this movie.
