It is amazing... Hearing Chuck speak... he had such a light voice. It is kind of hard to believe that such a brutal voice came from somebody that softspoken.

It’s kinda like Tom from Slayer. You hear him talk in interviews and he’s very soft spoken. But put him on stage and he has such a powerful voice.

Hahaha the vocal cords have nothing to do with the type of singing he did In fact, he used "false chords"

Chuck was a real man, he was true to himself and to his music with no restrictions or limitations or concern by image. I still believe in his view that metal should be united, not divided into every sub-category that disses others. Great musician and great human being. its amazing i presented in class Chuck Schuldiner voice of the soul compared to Vivaldi's four seasons summer theme just to show melodies harmonies and great rythems without like a heavy guitar but heavy guitars are cool 2...my music app teacher really believes that chuck knows his classical music and i think so too..sad that he passed...

When he talks about extreme death metal bands that were giving it a bad image I think he was hinting more towards like Deicide mainly because Glen Benton was very very extreme and serious at the time but I like both Death and Deicide and many other metal and Death metal bands. Chuck is a huge inspiration to me and my music as well even though im a bassist. R.I.P. Chuck we'll never forget you \m/ \m/

Cal887 said nothing about selling more albums, he was talking about images. Morbid Angel got old after 20 minutes, but Death still sounds good to me after five years. Plus, if Death were "overhyped" because of Chuck's death than why is interviewer Teresa (on top of many other interviews I read on the net) discussing about how Chuck was hailed as a death metal founder with Chuck himself?

Look at how average of a guy Chuck is. He just looks like an unimportant guy, yet, he's the biggest name in Death Metal, or Metal in general (or at least he should be). And as he stated in this interview RednBlackCardAttack, he just thinks some bands let shit go to far. That smashed head situation is an example.
