Friday night grudge passes with Daddy Dave at Bandimere Speedway in Morrison, Colorado.
We couldn't leave here without stopping to see Red Rocks Ampitheatre. Seeing a concert there is definitely on the bucket list!
Alright, this elevation should favor a nitrous or turbo engine so we're thinking this is going to be a good weekend for The 2nd Amendment car. So, it's Friday at Bandimere Speedway and we're still limping from Arizona's race. First thing we find is a crack in the exhaust manifold. Luckily, we know a TIG welder - Jeff Lutz ‪@lutzracecarspgh‬ . After that fix, we're onto grudges. The first pass is good, but we didn't get any data. The second pass doesn't happen - there's something definitely wrong with the car. We get pulled back to the pits, have a look and, well. You'll see. SMH.
The night wasn't a total loss - we got to meet a lot of great folks in Morrison, CO. Thank you all for coming out to support racing and for visiting with us! One man in particular, Kevin Williams, made our night by presenting drawings made by a few Colorado inmates. Thanks, Al G! You're a talented dude and we appreciate you. Kevin also brought us a new sticker for The 2nd Amendment car we proudly display, a "Sons of Chesty" Marine Original decal. He told us they were produced by a Marine he served with in Desert Storm and a portion of the profit made off their sale goes to the ‪@woundedwarriorproject‬ Thanks again, guys.

Yea I did 4 months in our county jail when I was in my 20s... it's tough and I vowed to do better. There's definitely good people in there and sometimes way better than some of the people out here

I'm not the smartest person in the world but how would high elevation help a turbo car but not a procharger car. People always say that high elevation would be great for a nitrous car cause it makes it's own air but I don't get what Chuck is saying that it'll help a turbo car...can someone please explain to me??

do you guys not keep your data from the last time you were at that track even if it was a year ago *( or maybe even longer than that )* somewhere around my house i have folders of time slips going back to the 70's and VHS tapes going back to the 80's thats how we logged data in the analog days that and we had a book we would wright down adjustments to make for each track from the way we ran the car the last time we were there even if it was the year before you guys woulda never made it in the analog days of racing
