This group has been singing since I was a little girl in the 1940s I suppose they have died so is it carried on now by grands, great-grands and successive generations? Their songs/hymns are still with us!

Been listening all my life. My sweet Grandmother got me hooked. Real gospel music, not the "canned" music you hear in churches now.

Grew up in small community with a lot of talent where various small groups and families would 'practice up' on Sunday afternoon for a 5 th Sunday night singing. Sang many of these songs with friend and family harmonies. As a kid thought every area had guitar players, piano players, and singers. Wonderful memories.

I still like to hear the old fashioned gospel and are singing groups that still sing today like The Blackwood Brothers Quàrtet The Chuck Wangon Gang and others and for those who still sings the old. Hymns and so on and keep that up. Thank you! God bless you all.

Earl. There may still be some old Stamps/Baxter (little brown books)hymnals to be found. There is also an old softback called Inspiration with a Christ likeness photo on front(possibly out of print).Check some small churches. The structured formal new sound churches will not know what they are.
