I used to live in Henderson. A friend of mine lives in a gated community with its own park. One year on the 4th of July we walk over to the park during the fireworks show and there's Chuck standing there. Apparently he was chilling and house sitting for Russell Peters who lived in that same community at the time. Couldn't have been nicer and more patient with us. This was at the height of Sons of Anarchy, so we had a lot of questions.

The thing that people don't realize is, that accident caused Gary Busey to suffer extreme head trauma! He literally never recovered from it. The Gary Busey you saw in his early Hollywood acting career, is not the same man you saw afterwards. People think that he was always a bit wild and crazy.... No! All of that happened _after_ the accident.

I met Chuck Zito in 2020 at an event, I am a really big fan of OZ. I went up to him and said "Excuse me, I just wanted to let you know that Oz is one of my favorite shows and it's really awesome to meet you." He shook my hand and said "Thanks, OZ really is the greatest show HBO ever made, wanna get a picture?" So i got a picture with him. Really cool moment in my life, I usually don't go up to people I see in the movies or tv, cause of the number of horror stories I've heard. But if there is someone whose work you admire, just keep it cool and respectful and you might get a nice wholesome moment out of it. My two cents.

I lived in Syracuse, 1975 - 82, and on the biker scene then. Was also a bouncer in a biker bar, 1980 - 81; made many good friends there, including lotsa Italians. Chuck's demeanor and shat talking reminds me of some of those friends. No judgement here, most of us from that era are old now, with memories we tend to embellish. I have many fond memories, and miss my old friends there. One of them is a lifelong friend, and a legendary tough guy. But his health is failing, and I need to visit him sooner than later, Eventually we'll all become frail, and pass on. I am a bit older than Chuck, but my hair is natural color. Chuck looks great here though, and may God Bless him. .

Has he ever hit anyone who could fight back? I don't mean hitting a drunken Van Damme without warning while he was trying to stand up. Zito is a self-described liar. Van Damme is known for admitting his own faults. Van Damme denied Zito's version of the story and challenged him to get in the ring, "disrespecting" him in an interview, saying Van Damme would win in 60 seconds. Zito failed to man up and answer the call. Van Damme was a legitimate kickboxing pro, with a 19-1 record in full-contact bouts. Zito's Wikipedia page says he has a 36-5 record as a boxer, but Boxrec says it's actually 2-3, and he was a welterweight, so he was 147 pounds or less.

Ah the old Left Hook Boxing Club, I take it you knew owner Ray Navarro, and Middleweight prospect Andy Amaya early 70s. Andy was a good friend of mine, went to school together, boxed together, rumbled in the streets together. It's a shame how he ended up, could've been Champ. Ray Navarro was the no1 Middleweight Contender for a while back in the 50s, great fighter, hell of a Man. Believe Tony Iadanza aka Danza was a Middleweight with 8 or 10 wins by KO, and he was stopped once, good athlete. This being said, Chuck Zito is for REAL, and could take Rourke, Busey, and Danza, all at the same time. When he was Red and White, him and another New York member, Gorilla Harwood took down 15 members of a rival bike club in a NYC street fight. They were the only two Men in the history of the HAMC to wear a sanctioned patch RUMBLE CREW. Did you also see Zito at the Left Hook, he was the one who taught Sly to Box for the Rocky Movies. Believe Chuck was the National amateur Heavyweight Boxing Champion, and Expert in 7 or 8 Martial Arts....

I never saw Chuck Zito over there at all during that time. I did not know (Andy) Those were the good old days. Ray Notaro and his wife Mary moved up to Oregon.
