1:05:26 I disagree & I'm black. ANYONE can speak on ANYTHING. Just be prepared for consequences. This narrative also makes us look very weak, like we're some special needs group. So we can joke on others & laugh at their expense, but no one is allowed to joke on us but ourselves? That's nonsense.

I agree that anyone can joke on anything and there are others who joke about things that don't contribute to ideas that end up harming groups as a whole. I think it's about the harm certain ideas cause the group. We don't realise that certain tropes filter social consciousness that result in terrible outcomes for us. As an example, despite most of modern history being defined by the violence by White nations why are Black people in society seen to be more violent or feral? If we allow certain tropes to be run and become acceptable for White or other people to spread freely, it gets set in stone and results in over policing of Black people, heightened suspicion of us, preconceptions of us that are held by others who listen to such media but don't even interact with Black people much. In the moment it was one little joke run by a white man, if enough people start thinking and speaking that way, we can't wonder why we get treated and disrespected the way we do. Notice how other communities don't even allow one little joke to run? They respect themselves enough. LeBron said "Jewish money" one time and felt that pushback because they know those small ideas amount to big problems for the community.

Let's be real, Filthy fellas have no right to really say that mandem can't do offensive or weird jokes. Some of the shit these brothers would censor out of the show with that dog sound were crazy. Even staying on Kendrick, Margz himself said the other day, Kendrick fans are like Zionists and Kendrick is Netanyahu. That's way worse then what Andrew Schulz said but Margz is "one of us" so those sensitive people on twitter ain't on him like that. I can even genuinely imagine Specs saying what Andrew said about Kendrick as a joke randomly on a podcast, ngl to me, it's a distasteful joke but It's nowhere near as offensive as what people say on them comedy roasts for eg. A word on Poet though, he seems to have selective outrage. Sometimes he's all about the jokes, laughing at offensive shit, but then he sees people get offended by that same joke online, and a bit later, hes offended too. A bit Like Will Smith when Chris Rock did that joke on Jada.

3:00 Gents we talking about Nas and beats but haven't mentioned the *last 5/6 years* where he's tagged in the monster producer that is Hitboy and buried us in dope bars over hard beats for *2 SERIES* in *KING'S DISEASE* & *MAGIC!!* I definitely used to agree cause I'm music first but those last Grammy Nominated albums destroyed that. He's overdelivered at a high level for what 4/5 projects like 20yrs after his debut?!?!? P.S Po's fit is a *chat* elevated comfort with some fire pieces. Man needs to do photoshoots and style himself and the mandem. Dan, Chucks & Poet (styled by Po) would be *cold* as a mock British GQ or just to promo HC with an "Album cover" photoshoot.

1:03:53 South Park is actually funny. There are actual punchlines. You can rip anyone and joke on anything… as long as it’s funny. The backlash is because it wasn’t funny. Many comedians use Black people as a punchline and a lot times it’s hilarious. I’m still waiting for someone to provide Andrew’s punchline. No one has provided yet lol. Also, GNX was out for almost a week before his response. He didn’t say any of that off the dome. He had several days to come up with a funny response and SA was his go to. It says a lot… and again not funny.

The main thing that they’re missing about the Andrew/Kendrick conversation is that the joke wasn’t funny. There was no humour there. You don’t even need to go back to slavery. With his Shxts and Gigs jokes I didn’t find it funny personally as a black womam but I understand the punchline. With this now….he was trying to do a shocking punchline but it was just shocking. Also, how can afrobeats be apart of culture clash? That genre isn’t built on clashing like dancehall/rap/grime/reggae. I really hope they don’t try and bring afrobeats to the next clash.

However even when asked who they prefer dating black or white they froze and looked at each other and laughed. Aka white women. Men are simple creatures. Physically speaking there’s literally no race more sexy than black women. Their personalities and behavior on the other hand is what makes everybody run away from them. And let’s address stereotypes lmfaooo they’re based off of reality. Asians are good at math (stereotype) 52% of Asians scored at or above the proficient level of math (fact). Black women are a handful (stereotype) 47% (some say 70%) of black women are single (fact). Schulz is a comedian. He’s supposed to make jokes. You don’t have to like a particular joke or comedian. But expecting them to apologise for jokes, or telling them what they’re allowed to make jokes about is insane. If you don’t like it, don’t laugh and move on. All this online protesting is madness - especially when you know you’re fine partaking in humour when it’s another person or group that is the butt of the joke
@TheFergo9113 күн бұрын
Andrew makes fun of everyone and everything and he will double down if he sees people be hypocrites when they try to censor and Kendrick was a hypocrite and even then Andrew at the end of that whole bit of making fun of Kendrick and this hypocrisy he said that he wants Kendrick to keep killing it with his music because the album sounds fire. I know what sort of person Andrew is, he is a comedian who would suck to have as a friend because you might not have a thick enough skin, but this is the case with a lot of comedians. I think Bill Burr would roast your ass by just siting down in a funny way and it will seem like it came out of nowhere. The same with Kevin Hart or most other comedians. I just think British people have a polite demenour and Andrew is too much for some britsh people.

you don't have to like any comedian. you don't even have to like comedy as a genre of storytelling. to the extent that rules are necessary, i'd put it this way: if you have ever laughed at a joke made at the expense of anyone else or groups other than the one you belong to, in general or by a certain comedian, you should forfeit your whining card when you or the group belong to becomes the butt of a joke. can you judge the joke on its merit? sure... but you are on shaky grounds claiming it shouldn't be made. andrew schulz can say whatever he wants on his platforms including going at people mad at him, or pretending to be mad at him. i imagine you lot would be grateful he gets to say whatever he wants because you get to make money talking about him. policing what he should or shouldn't say is rather pointless if you can't ignore him. just saying.
